UP ITI 2025 Merit List
The admission authority releases an UP ITI 2025 merit list for the selection of successfully registered candidates seeking admission in various ITI trades. A state level merit list is prepared separately for Group-A and Group-B.
Rank/ Merit list for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ is prepared on the basis of separate qualifying criteria for Government and Private ITIs. It has been made available to eligible candidates for Phase 1 via online mode. The process of trade allocation for Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ can be done separately.

How to Check UP ITI 2025 Merit List
To check the merit list of UP ITI 2025, students have to go through the steps below:
- Go through the portal of UP ITI (link is available above).
- From the latest notification section of the main page look for the link for UP ITI Merit List 2025.
- A login page will be opened on tapping on that link.
- Fill in all the details and click on the login button.
- The merit list of UP ITI 2025 is displayed on the screen for both the groups (Group- A & Group-B).
- Check the merit list carefully and download it for future reference.
UP ITI 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria
The selection of the candidate can be done on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the qualifying educational qualification result (adding preference marks, if any). The total marks in the results of different boards related to educational qualification are different.
The preferences for admission to UP ITI 2025 will be given on the basis of following criteria:
- If the marks obtained in the qualifying educational qualification of two candidates will be equal, then the candidate with higher age will be given preference in selection.
- If the marks and age of two candidates are also equal, then preference will be given in selection to the candidate who submitted the application first.
UP ITI 2025 Reservation Criteria

UP ITI 2025 Seat Allotment
For seat allocation, state level merit lists is prepared separately for Group-A and Group-B. The authority prepares the selection list of Group-A first. If a seat allotted to a candidate in Group-A, will not be considered for selection in Group-B.
On the basis of marks and preference marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying educational qualification examination, separate trade-wise merit lists will be prepared for Group A and Group B.
UP ITI 2025 Admission Procedure
Seat allotment is completed in four phases, out of which first, second and third phase will be done on the basis of merit of state level qualifying educational qualification and in the fourth phase, it will be done on the basis of merit of district/institute level qualifying educational qualification.
The facility of “Freeze/Float” will be available for giving upgrade options of district/ institute/ profession and courses against the vacant seats in first and second phase in private ITIs.
Under the upgradation process, if an applicant takes admission in the selected trade/institute and chooses the option of Float, then they will have to deposit the Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs.1000/- online. In case of upgradation, candidates will have to take admission in the admitted institute in which they take admission.
