UGC NET December 2024 Notification PDF Out: The National Testing Agency has released the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test 2024 notification pdf along it has also activated the registration link.
The UGC at times keeps changing or modifying things in the curriculum and this time also addition has been done by the authority.
On 19 November 2024 notification and UGC NET 2024 Application Form for December session was released. Candidates interested in applying are advised to go through the complete notice first and then apply.
As per the official notice, candidates can apply for the UGC NET 2024 December session on 10 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.) and examination will be held from 01 January 2025 to 19 January 2025.
What’s New In UGC NET 2024 December
For the UGC NET 2024 June session examination was conducted for 83 subjects but as per the notification for the December session, 2 subjects have been added. The notice stated that “(NTA) will conduct UGC – NET December 2024 for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode“.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has added ‘Ayurveda Biology’ and ‘Hindu Studies’ as new subjects for UGC NET December 2024. These additions were approved during the UGC’s 581st meeting on June 25, 2024, based on recommendations from an expert committee.
UGC NET December 2024 Highlights & Deadlines
For candidates interested in applying for the UGC NET December session registration link was activated on 19 November and candidates can apply till 10 December 2024 at 11:50 P.m. However application fees can be paid till 11 December 2024 at 11:50 P.m
The mode to submit the application form is online and the examination will be conducted via CBT Mode. Before applying candidates are required to check the complete UGC NET eligibility criteria.
After the registration is over candidates will get 2 days application correction facility. The UGC NET 2024 December application correction link will be activated from 12 December 2024 to 13 December 2024
(up to 11:50 P.M.).

While applying candidates will be required to pay category-wise application fees. Candidates belonging to General/ Unreserved will be required to pay Rs. 1150/-, General-EWS/OBC-NCL Rs. 600/- and SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender Rs. 325/-
