UGC NET 2024 Cut Off List has been released via online mode. UGC NET is a national level entrance test conducted to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship programme of Indian nationals. UGC NET 2024 Cut Off – Out (June Session)
UGC NET 2024 Subject/ Category Wise Cut Off has been released on 17th October 2024. Click here for cut off list.
UGC NET 2024 Cut Off marks has been released on 17th October 2024 after the declaration of results. Candidates have to obtained the minimum cut off marks to get selected in the merit list.
The merit list is prepared category-wise and subject-wise for each subject. Only top 6% qualified candidates will be considered for Junior Research Fellowship programme. Candidates must check the cut off marks after declaration of result. It has been made available only through online mode.

Factors Determining Cut off
The cut off marks will be different for various papers. Various factors are taken into consideration for determining the cut off marks. These factors will be as follows:
- Difficulty level of the paper
- Reservation policies
- Number of candidates appeared for the exam
- Number of Candidate passed the exam
- Availability of seats
- Marking scheme
UGC NET 2024 Result
UGC NET 2024 Result has been declared by the prescribed authority on 17th October 2024 for June session. Candidates can check their result by entering the application number, date of birth and roll number.
Candidates those get selected in written test, their roll number will be mentioned by displayed NTA on their website. As the authority has declared the UGC results, the marks of the candidates also has been uploaded on the website.
UGC NET 2024 Merit list
After the releasing of cut off marks by the prescribed authority, merit list will be prepared. Merit list will be prepared separately for JRF and assistant professor. Result has been released on 17th October 2024.
The merit list will contain all the shortlisted candidates those have cleared the minimum cut off marks. Top 15% candidates from the merit list will be selected for the Assistant Professor only from each category and subject.
Separate merit list will be prepared from the qualified candidates for JRF. The final subject wise and category wise merit list will be released based on all the papers given by the candidate.
UGC NET 2024 Counselling
After successfully qualifying the UGC NET 2024 entrance exam and cut off, the counselling process will be organized. Candidates are required to submit the counselling application with certain documents. Also, processing fee will be submitted by the candidates.

Candidates must carry the original and photocopy of the documents mentioned below:
- Class X and XII mark sheet and pass certificates
- Degree and provisional certificate
- UGC NET Admit card
- Scorecard/Rank card
- Counselling letter
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Passport size photographs
- Medical documents
