UGC NET 2025 Application Form
Details related to UGC NET 2025 application form are provided below in bullets:
- NTA will provide the UGC NET 2025 registration form through online mode, no offline method will be available.
- Candidates will be able to start filling the application form in the last week of December 2024.
- It is advised to all the candidates that fulfill the eligibility criteria first before proceeding to fill the application form.

- Details such as personal, academic, category, exam city, qualification, etc. need to be submit at the time of filling the form.

- Candidates will have to submit the form before the last week of January 2025 as it will be last date to apply.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2025

UGC NET 2025 Application Correction
NTA will provide the UGC NET 2025 application correction facility from the first week of February 2025. Only registered candidates will be able to make correction in the form using their login credentials. Details like application number and date of birth will be required to make corrections.
After the closing of correction window, no request for change in the application form will be entertained. Authority will provide the correction facility for limited period of time. It can be done through online mode only, no other mode will be provided.

UGC NET 2025 Syllabus
The UGC NET syllabus will be released separately for all the subjects by the authority. Appearing candidates in the exam must prepare subject wise for the exam.

UGC NET 2025 Exam City Slip
UGC NET 2025 Exam City Slip will be released in the first week of June 2024 on the website. candidates will be able to download the exam city slip through online mode only. Login details such as application number and date of birth will be required to access it.
It informs the candidates about their UGC NET exam cities before the release of admit card so that they can prepare for the exam in advance. Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the UGC NET 2025 exam city slip safe for further usage in future.
UGC NET 2025 Admit Card
UGC NET Admit Card will be released in the first week of June 2025. Candidates will be able to download the admit card through online mode only, no offline method will be provided. It will be accessed from the NTA website only. Applicants will have to carry the hardcopy of the admit card to appear for the exam at the given center on date & time.
No candidates will be allowed to appear at the exam center on date and time other than that allotted to them in their UGC NET 2025 admit card. In case, candidates won’t be able to download the admit card from the website, then they may approach the helpline of NTA between 09:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates can also approach the authority by writing mail to NTA.
UGC NET 2025 Answer Key
NTA will publish the UGC NET provisional answer key in the fourth week of June 2025. Candidates will be required to provide the login details on the website to check answer key. In case, candidates found any mistake in the answer key, they can challenge it easily.
To raise objection against the answer key, candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 200/- online as processing fee. This fee will be non-refundable under any circumstances. To challenge the key, candidates will be required to upload the justification/ evidence as a proof.
This facility will be provided for the stipulated time, after the closing of this window no challenge will be accepted. After examining all the challenges received, the final answer key will be displayed on the website. on the basis of the final answer key, the result will be declared by the authority through online mode.
UGC NET 2025 Result
National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the UGC NET result in the month of July 2025. Result will be accessed only by the appeared candidates in the entrance examination. To download the result, candidates will be required to enter the login details such as Application Number and Date of Birth.
It will be released on the basis of the final answer key. No facility of no-rechecking/ re-evaluation of the result will be provided. After downloading the UGC NET 2025 result from the website, candidates must go through the details thoroughly. In case of any discrepancy in the result, candidates must contact the officials for changes.
UGC NET 2025 Cut Off
There will be various factors which determines to prepare the UGC NET cut off. It will be available through online mode only. After releasing the result, the cut off will be published on the website. To be eligible for the admission, I will be mandatory for the candidates to obtain the minimum cut off marks.
For all the categories, it will be prepared separately by the authority. Candidates will be able to check the cut off list in PDF format. Those candidates who will secure the equal cut off or more than that will be qualified for the further admission procedure.

After the declaration of UGC NET 2025 result, no further rounds will be organized for selection of the candidates. On the basis of the performance in UGC NET exam, the candidates will be selected for Assistant professor and JRF.
Those successful qualified candidates in the exam will be considered for the selection procedure. top 6% of total candidates will be declared qualify. To be eligible for the post of JRF and Assistant Professor, candidates will have to score minimum marks in both the papers.
