UGC NET 2024 Cut Off has been released along with the declaration of the results. UGC NET (University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). UGC NET Qualifying Marks 2024
The qualifying marks of UGC NET 2024 as announced by NTA must be obtained by students to be eligible for admission procedure. The authority has released qualifying marks along with cut off list in PDF. For both June/ December cycle it is announced separately.
The authority will set the qualifying marks for both Paper I and Paper II keeping on mind various factors. It will vary for various categories (General/ ST/ SC/ OBC/ PWD/ Transgenders) and papers. For general /UR candidates, the qualifying marks are minimum 120 out of 300 marks & for reserved candidates, it is minimum 105 out of 300 marks.

- The total slots are allotted to students who belong to various categories according to the reservation policy as set by Govt. of India

= No. of candidates from SC category scoring 35% at least in Economics X Total Slots derived for SC

UGC NET Selection/ Certificates 2024
After the merit list/ result & cut off will be released, the qualified candidates can start further with the selection procedure. After the cut off and names of qualified candidates are announced, NTA will further release of the E-certificates.
Awarding of JRF or the eligibility of Assistant professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidates shown in Paper 1 & 2 of UGC NET.
