TS Polycet 2025 Eligibility 

Candidates are provided admissions on fulfilling the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority. Appearing in the test will not only the eligibility to get admission in the polytechnic colleges in TS state.

It is necessary to fulfill all eligibility criteria in order to get admission. If a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility criteria then he/she will not allowed to appear in the written entrance examination.

Nationality:

• Candidate must be an Indian national.

Age Limit:

• There will be no upper or lower age to appear in the TS Polycet exam.

State Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must belong to the Telangana state.
• Candidates must possess the domicile of TS.

Qualification Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed the SSC exam from Telangana state.
• The SSC (10th) exam will be conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana/AP or any other recognised board.

Other Board:

• Candidates belonging to any of the boards like CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)/ ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education)/ NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)/ APOSS (AP Open School Society)/ Others examinations recognized by TS government must have all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in the qualifying exam pass their exams

Minimum Marks:

• In the qualifying exam, candidates will have to obtain a minimum of 35% marks.
• Candidates will have to score 35% in each subject.

Appearing Candidates:

• Those appearing in the 10th exam in March-April 2024 or those whose results are awaited or yet to be declared will be also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who will have a compartment in their SSC exam will be also eligible to apply.
• The result of compartment must be declared before taking admission to the allotted institution.

TS Polycet 2025 Application Form

TS Polycet 2025 Application Form will be made available via online mode. Candidates can fill out the application form from last week of February 2025. Last year application was released on 27th February 2024.  Candidates will be allowed to fill out the application form till April 2025.

For the session 2024 candidates were allowed to submit application till 22nd April 2024 by the website of exam conducting authority. Candidates must fill in all the asked & required details completely & correctly as an incomplete or incorrect application form will lead to rejection.

It is also mandatory to provide a valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form. All the information regarding form will be sent to it. Candidates must also not forget to upload passport size photographs & signatures in the prescribed format.

Once application form is filled, candidates must proceed to submit the application fee. The application fee can be paid only through online mode. General  & OBC category candidates have to submit Rs. 500. Reserved category candidates have to submit Rs. 250.

While applying candiates are advised to fill in all the details very carefully and correctly, the exam conducting authority i.e. State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad, is going to provide candidates with a facility to make corrections on applications in May 2025. Still, candidates are required to fill out the form correctly.
