Through this admission procedure, candidates will be given admission in various UG Engineering programs on the basis of their merit of 12th level examination. Candidates will have to fill an online application to seek admission to various Government and Govt. Aided Colleges, affiliated Colleges of Anna University and Self–Financing Colleges in TamilNadu.

TNEA 2025 Application Form

• Applicants will be able to register for BE/ B.Tech courses under Single Window Admission System through online mode only.
• Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions before the last date of submission will be eligible to apply.
• Application form for TNEA 2025 will be released in first week of May 2025.
• To fill the form, applicants have to enter personal, academic qualification, address and contact details.
• Candidates must ensure to review their application form before final submission, as no facility to make corrections in application form will be provided later.
• After filling the form, candidates will have to upload their scanned images of recent photographs and signature in jpeg/ jpg or png format as per the given size.
• Deadline for registration form filling and submission will be till first week of June 2025.
• Candidates must also take a printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.

Application Fee:

• Registration fee will be deposited through both online as well as offline mode.
• Payment will be accepted through credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI gateways.
• Fee will also be paid through Demand Draft in favor of “The Secretary, TNEA” payable at Chennai.

TNEA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the given eligibility criteria before applying for TNEA 2025 admission:

Nativity:

• Applicants who are natives of Tamil Nadu & have passed 8th to 12th standard examinations from any school in Tamil Nadu.
• Natives of Tamil Nadu who have passed 8th to 12th standard examinations or their equivalent examination from schools situated outside will be eligible to apply.
• Childers of Central Government Employees and their parents are serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past 5 years preceding the date of submission of application.
• Candidates who are children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognised Institutions in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past 5 years, irrespective of their domicile.
• Applicants  who are sons/ daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers will be eligible to apply.
• Non-residents of Tamil Nadu who have studied 8th to 12th standard examinations from any school situated in Tamil Nadu will also be eligible.

How to Apply for TNEA 2025

Students must follow these steps to fill the application form of TNEA 2025:

• Go through the website of TNEA (Link will be given above).
• Navigate to the registration page by selecting  the ‘New Registration’ tab.
• Register to the website by providing details i.e. name, phone number, email ID, category, date of birth, qualifying examination etc.
• After completing the details, press on “Save” button and validate OTP sent on registered ID and number.
• Once registered successfully, login to website by entering email ID with password.
• Then, click on “Click here for B.E/ B.Tech Registration” tab.
• Candidates will be needed to enter complete details i.e. personal, qualifications and address details.
• Each document must be uploaded in a file size between 150 KB to 1 MB in jpg/ jpeg or PNG format.
• File size of photograph and signature should be between 20KB to 50KB.
• After uploading all the required documents, click on “Confirm/ Freeze” button and proceed to pay application fee.
• Pay the registration fee through online payment modes as per the category.
• Once the payment is submitted, applicant will be ineligible to edit any details and certificate.
• Candidates must ensure to download and take a printout of PDF of submitted application form for further references.
