Thapar University 2025 Application Form

Candidates must go through the below details to Thapar University application form 2025:

• Thapar University 2025 application form has been released through online mode.
• Applicants are able to fill the registration form from 5th November 2024 for MBA. For B.Tech & various UG, PG courses, it has been released on 31st January 2025.
• Students should fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for admission.
• Fill the application form by entering required information such as personal, educational, address details etc.
• Applicants must upload the scanned images of photograph and signature within a prescribed size and format.
• The university will not provide any correction facility to edit mistakes in application form.
• Candidates are able to submit the application form till 3rd March 2025 for MBA program & 8th May 2025 for B.Tech & various UG, PG level courses.
• The last date for FN/ NRI candidates will be till 31st July 2025 for all programs. 
• Take a printout of filled application form and keep it safe for future usage.

Application Fee:

• Students are able to pay the application fee via online as well as offline mode.
• The online payment can be done via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
• For offline payment, applicants are able to use demand draft.
• Application fee can be non- refundable once paid.

Thapar University 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria of Thapar University 2025:

For B.Tech:

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 exam or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Marks: Applicants must obtain a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for reserved category) in qualifying exam.
• Subject: Students should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects along with Computer Science/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
• Appearing: Applicants appearing for final exam of class 12th are also be eligible for admission.

For MBA:

• Qualification: Students must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Marks: To be eligible, applicants need to secure at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category). 
• Appearing: Students appealing in final year are able to apply.
• Scorecard: Candidats must have a valid score of CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ SNAP/ NMAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ TMAT.

Thapar University 2025 Admission Procedure

Candidates will need to register themselves through online mode on the website to participate in admission procedure. Thapar University admission procedure 2025 will be organized in various rounds. It will include, filling of registration form, merit list, counselling, interview, etc.

If candidates do not have any national level score card then they will need to appear for TMAT entrance examination. As the university will shortlist students for admission procedure on the basis of their performance in entrance exam. Students must participate in counselling process and other admission round to complete the admission process.

Thapar University 2025 Entrance Exam (TMAT)

Thapar university conducts an aptitude test to provide admission into various management courses. Thapar Management Aptitude Test (TMAT) is conducted through offline mode. The exam will be held on 10th March 2025. 

Students will get two hours to complete the aptitude test. Question paper will be made available in English and Hindi language only.  There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in aptitude test. It will be mandatory for students to qualify for the aptitude test to be eligible for further admission process.

Thapar University 2025 Result/ Merit List 

Candidates will be able to download their result through online mode from the website of university. Thapar University result 2025 will be released for the students who have appeared in entrance exam. Applicants will be shortlisted for further admission process on the basis of their marks in aptitude test/ national level exam.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview round. Students are advised to take a printout of result and keep it safe for future reference. The university will prepare the final merit list on the basis of NET score:

Thapar University 2025 Counselling

Thapar University counselling 2025 will be organized in various steps. Applicants will be able to participate in counselling procedure through offline mode. Candidates who have shortlisted for counselling must appear in counselling to get admission.

University will provide a provisional admission letter after allotment of seats. Students will need to reach the institute with admission letters and documents required for verification process. Applicants will need to submit a counselling fee to confirm the seat.
