TANCET Exam Pattern 2025
Anna University publishes the exam pattern in the brochure on the website. Candidates will be able to check the exam pattern online. To get admission in the engineering institutions of Tamil Nadu state, candidates will have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by the university. With the help of TANCET 2025 exam pattern, candidates will be able to know about the topics of exam, marking scheme, duration of exam, etc.
TANCET 2025 Hall Ticket will be made available in the third week of February 2025. The admit card will be made available via online mode through the website. Candidates must note that the hall ticket must be produced at the time of exam and also at the time of admission process.
TANCET 2025 Exam Pattern

- Mode of Exam: The written test will be conducted through offline mode (pen paper based).
- Date of Exam: The exam will be conducted in the second week of March 2025 (MCA/ MBA).
- Duration of Exam: 2 hours will be given for writing the exam.
- Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
- No. of Questions: 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Type of Questions: The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for every correct answer.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Attempts: For ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan, PART I & II is compulsory. PART III according to the discipline selected at the time of registration.
