SRMJEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To get admission successfully to various campuses of SRM University, candidates must qualify for the eligibility criteria and entrance test.

Candidates must submit their relevant documents or certificates at the time of admission. Candidates must check their eligibility before filling out the SRMJEEE application form. The complete eligibility criterion for admission to SRM University is provided below:

Nationality:

• Indian residents can apply.
• Apart from Indian nationals, candidates who are NRI, PIO, OCI card holders can also apply for SRMJEEE.

Age Criteria:

• Candidates applying for the exam should be at least 16 years and 6 months of age on the year of admission.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level exams or their equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates must have passed qualifying exams with the compulsory subjects of Physics and Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular stream.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in PCM subjects in the intermediate level exam to get admission to the Rampuram, Kattankulathur, and Vadapalani campuses.

For B.Tech – Biotech/Genetic Engg./Biomedical Engg:

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level exams or their equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying exams with the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics or Biotechnology.
• Applying candidate must have passed his IB A-level exam with the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics from any international school located in India.

Appearing Candidates:

• Candidates who are appearing in their last year of 10+2 level exams or its equivalent can also apply.

• Students with year gap of more than 3 years after 10+2 are not eligible for admission.

Additional Eligibility:

• Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.
• GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India.Note: Only those Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

SRMJEEE 2025 Application form

The application form for SRMJEEE 2025 can be filled out by the candidates through online mode. The online form is made available from 12th November 2024. Candidates are able to submit phase 1 application till 16th April 2025, phase 2 forms till 6th June 2025 and 30th June 2025 for phase 3.

Once application form submission window will be closed no registration forms will be accepted by authority. The application fee to be submitted by the students is Rs.1400. The fee can be paid by debit/credit card or net banking.

Candidates are required to fill in application form very carefully and correclty as authority will not provide any application correction facility. Registration forms will be rejected if there is any errors or mistakes. Only candidates who will sucessfully fill out application will be able move for further process.
