• SNU Chennai 2025 application form will be released through online mode, no offline facility will be provided.
• Applicants must meet the eligibility norms for desired courses prior to filling an application form.
• All the necessary details like name, email ID, phone number and other asked details must be entered in application form.
• University will not open any correction window, so candidates must fill in valid details in specific format.
• Last date to fill application form will be till fourth week of March 2025 for Phase-1 and second week of April 2025 for Phase-2. 
• Application form for Phase-3 & Phase-4 will be submitted till fourth week of April 2025 and fourth week of May 2025, respectively.
• Applicants must take a printout of filled application form for further usage in admission.

Application Fee:

• SNU Chennai 2025 application fee will be submitted via online mode only.
• Each candidate will need to pay Rs. 1500/- as registration fee.
• Use debit card, credit card or net banking payment gateways for transaction.
• Fee will be non-refundable under any circumstances.

Applicants will be required to check SNU Chennai Eligibility Criteria 2025:

For B.Tech. Course:

• Qualification: Candidate must have qualified 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subject: To be eligible, candidates must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (PCM) as mandatory subjects in qualifying exam.
• Marks: Candidates must pass 12th class with minimum of 75% marks.
• Appearing: 12th appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

For B.Sc. Course:

• Qualification: Those candidates who have passed 12th level exam will be eligible for exam.
• Subject: Applying candidates must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as one of compulsory subjects.
• Appearing: One who will be appearing for qualifying exam in 2025 will also be eligible to apply.

For B.Com/ B.Com (Hons.) Course:

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have passed 12th grade or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Subject: Applicants will have to pass with Commerce and Accountancy as a mandatory subject along with any one of Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science subjects to be eligible for exam.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in qualifying exam will also be eligible for exam.

SNU Chennai 2025 Admission Procedure

SNU Chennai Admission Procedure 2025 will be organised in different stages. The admission will be provided on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in entrance exam/ other national level exam scores & interview rounds. Candidates will be required to fill an online application form and choose the date and slot for exam.

Shortlisted applicants must participate for counselling/ interview rounds and further admission procedure to be eligible for admission. For some of the seats admission will be offered through JEE Main scores.

SNU Chennai 2025 Entrance Exam (SNUCEE)

SNU Chennai University conducts an university level entrance exam called as SNUCEE (Shiv Nadar University Chennai Entrance Examination). University conducts this entrance exam in different phases through online mode.

The exam will be conducted in second week of April 2025 for Phase-I  and fourth week of April 2025 for Phase-2. Applying candidates will be given a total of 2 hours to solve the question paper. The entrance exam will include both aptitude and core subjects.

SNU Chennai 2025 Result/ Merit List

University will release a merit list of shortlisted candidates through online mode only. SNU Chennai Merit List 2025 will be published separately for each course offered by university on the website.

University will prepare a merit list on the basis of candidate’s performance in examination. All candidates selected in merit list will be called for interview and further counselling round.  

SNU Chennai 2025 Cut off

SNU Chennai Cut Off 2025 will be published through online mode on the website. University will decide cut off marks on the basis of various factors i.e. number of candidates applying, number of qualified candidates, difficulty level of exam, cut off trends etc.

Cut off will be determined in order to select eligible candidates for admission to various UG & PG Courses. Applicants must secure the qualifying cut off marks to be eligible for participation in further counselling procedure.

SNU Chennai 2025 Counselling

SNU Chennai Counselling 2025 will be organised by university on the basis of final merit list. The counselling procedure will be conducted in various rounds for all registered candidates. Counselling will be organised on the basis of seats available after each round of counselling. 

For admissions, performance of candidates in SNUCEE exam, Personal Interview and marks secured in 12th Exams will be taken into consideration. During counselling procedure, applicants will be required to bring their original documents for verification process.
