JEE Main 2025 Answer Key Issues: The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 answer key for Paper 1 has sparked a debate among candidates, as they are not satisfied with it and have found discrepancies, errors, and a lack of accountability from officials.
National Testing Agency, on February 4, 2025, released the JEE Main 2025 January session provisional answer key, along with providing candidates the facility to raise objections.
The window to challenge the JEE answer key was active for three days, from February 4 to February 6, 2025, until 11:50 PM. Candidates were also required to pay rupees 200/- per objection.
JEE Main 2025 Answer Key Issues
Many aspirants have commented over Twitter on NTA official page regarding the JEE Main 2025 answer key issues. The majority of candidates were unable to view the answer key and response sheet after logging into the login portal.
The website was showing candidates the confirmation page instead of the required PDF/documents. While the answer key objection period was ongoing candidates appealed to NTA to fix the issue as the window only opened for a few days but no solution was given to the candidates.

Candidates also raised concerns over inconsistencies in question IDs while challenging the answer key. Many have pointed out that the question IDs in the response sheet and the answer key challenge page do not match, this issue makes the objection process difficult.
Few have found multiple errors in the JEE answer key and claimed that certain shifts have wrong answers listed.

NTA has yet not said anything regarding candidates’ concerns. The official announcement regarding this is awaiting. The JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) was on 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 January 2025 in two shifts, and Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2B (B. Planning), and Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning both) on 30th January 2025.
Answer key for paper 2 is yet to be announced. JEE Main 2025 result for the January session will be released on 12th February 2025.
