Punjab JET 2025 Counselling

The authority will started web based online counselling registration on the first week of June 2025. Candidates must have to register for the counselling. The counselling will be organized in three rounds.

It will be organized only through the online mode to exercise the options of courses/ colleges. Physical presence of the candidate for the counselling process will not be compulsory.

The authority will published the seat allotment results on the basis of the merit list, filled choice & availability of seats after the choice filling.

Candidates have to report at the allotted college in a given time along with the documents for confirmation of seats.

Punjab JET 2025 Counselling Procedure

The counselling procedure complete details are given here:

Step 1: Online Registration:

First Candidates need to register for the counselling. Link will be provided above. It is necessary to register online for participating in the online counselling. Candidates have to fill in all the details given on the registration page.

Step 2: Choice Filling:

After registration, candidates will have to fill choices of college & courses according to their preference. All candidates from general, reserved categories & candidates from other states are eligible to participate. Candidates can choose any number of options.

Step 3: Seat Allotment Result:

The counselling result (seat allotment result) will be declared after a few days of the choice filling. Candidates, those who are allotted a seat can print the allotment letter through student login.

They have to deposit the admission fee & report at the allotted college in a given time. Candidates can check seat allotment results by entering their “application number/ roll number”.

Step 4: Reporting at Allotted Institution & Payment of Fee:

Candidates will have to report at the allotted institution & submit the admission fee in the given time period as per the counselling schedule. Candidate’s documents will be verified on the day of admission. Candidates have to pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

State Wise Allocation of Seats

85% of seats will be reserved for the candidates who belong to Punjab state & 15% of seats will be opened for candidates belonging to other states.

Candidates, those pass their 10^th examination from the schools situated in UT (Chandigarh), they will be eligible to get admission under the 15% quota in the institution in Punjab state.

Candidates who qualify for the 10^th exam from Punjab & other states, they can seek admission in the institution located in Chandigarh under the 15% quota.

The admission to all the courses will be made according to the reservation policy of the Government of Punjab and Chandigarh Administration.

Candidates have to produce all the relevant documents in original at the time of admission. Candidates have to report physically at the time of admission at the allocated institution.

Candidates should carry the given documents at the time of admission for verification:

• Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate (Qualifying Examination)
• 10th Class Certificate (Date of Birth)
• Character Certificate
• Domicile Certificate
• Category Certificate
• One recent stamp size photograph
