Puducherry NEET 2024 (Round III) Counselling has been started from 9th October 2024. Government of Puducherry, Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) is organizing body of NEET counselling in the state. The admissions in the medical and dental government and private colleges of Puducherry offered through NEET UG score card. So, it is mandatory to appear in the NEET written test. Counselling round is necessary for admission in medical courses, as seats has been allotted through counselling procedure only. Authority conducts the counseling procedure in various rounds as per the vacant seats after the every round of counseling.
Seats has been allotted on the basis of marks scored by candidates in NEET 2024 exam and rank scored in the state merit list. The preference is given to the top rank holder first and rest can get seats as per the availability of vacant seats. Final merit list has been released on 30th August 2024 for Round I. Authority will release the final merit list for Round II in September 2024.
Each qualified candidate of NEET 2024 have to register themselves in state counselling portal for participating in the counselling rounds. Candidates are able to participate in counselling round through online mode from the website of counselling authority.

Selection & Admission Procedure
- The counselling procedure has been conducted through online mode at the notified centre.
- Candidates must have to download the counselling call letter from the website.
- Candidates have to present at the counselling venue with their legal guardian/parent.
- The verification of the documents has been carried out first. After which candidates is allowed to participate in the choice filling round.
- Candidates need to pay the counselling fee at the time of attending counselling through Demand Draft.
- If the candidates are not attending the counselling at the time of their turn, then the claim of seat has been cancelled.
- Candidates those allotted with the seats can join the college within last date of joining.
Reservation Criteria
The candidates those claim for the reserve category benefit should produce the relevant document. The horizontal reservation is only be considered if seats remain vacant in vertical reservation. The percentage reservation in each category is given below:
