PGIMER Nursing 2024 Result/ Merit List
PGIMER Nursing Result has been declared through online mode on the website. It has been available few days after the conduct of exam. For B.Sc. nursing, result has been announced on 9th August 2024 and it has been declared on 3rd June 2024 for M.Sc. nursing courses.
Candidates are able to get their results through login. Result will not be sent to any of the candidate by post. There is no provision of re-checking/ re-evaluation of result. Result contain details like the name of candidate, subject wise marks, total mark obtained etc. Take printout of the result and keep it safe for future references.
Based on the marks secured by the candidates in entrance examination, a separate merit list is released. It will be prepared for all categories candidates. Candidates have selected for further admission procedure based on the final merit list.
PGIMER Nursing 2024 Counselling
Candidates are able to participating in the physical counselling at PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is compulsory for all the shortlisted candidates to participate in counselling by person. PGIMER Nursing Counselling Procedure is completed based on various factors i.e. filling of registration form, interview, document verification etc.
Counselling has been started from 20th June 2024. Counselling for B.Sc. nursing 4 years is held on 12th August 2024 & for Post basic nursing on 14th August 2024. For second round, counselling will be held on 20th September 2024.
Candidates who have shortlisted for the counselling need to submit the printout of the application form with other required documents and their photocopies either through online mode or by hand in the office of PGIMER.
After releasing the final counselling list, candidates have to reach the reporting centre to submit their admission fee and for other formalities. Final admission is provided to the candidates after verification of the documents.

Candidates must check the below provided PGIMER Nursing Eligibility before filling the application form:
B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years):
- Qualification: Candidates must pass 10th & 12th level examinations or equivalent from any recognised board.
- Age Limit: Applying candidates should not be more than 35 years and not less than 17 years as on 31st December 2024.
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Marks Criteria: One should secure minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th class.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam with physics, chemistry, biology & English subjects.
B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic):
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 level or its equivalent examination to be eligible.
- Marks Criteria: One should obtained minimum 50% marks in general nursing and midwifery.
- Age Limit: There will be upper age limit criteria of 45 years as on 1st September 2024.
- Registration: Candidates must have registered as a nurse and midwifery with respective state/ Indian nursing council.
M.Sc. Nursing:
- Qualification: Candidates must be graduated in B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (post basic) from any recognised institute.
- Marks Criteria: It is necessary for the candidates to obtain 55% marks in their qualifying exam.
- Experience: Candidates must have minimum 1 year experience in hospital/ public health nursing/ nursing educational institute.
PGIMER Nursing 2024 Exam Pattern

PGIMER Nursing 2024 Admit Card
Authority has released the admit card for B.Sc. nursing courses from 23rd July 2024. For M.Sc. nursing, it has been made available from 17th May 2024. Candidates are able to download their hall ticket through online mode.
PGIMER Nursing Admit card will not be sent to any candidate by post. Candidates must bring PGIMER Nursing 2024 admit card at the examination centre with one photo ID proof and passport size photograph.
Without valid admit card no candidate will be allowed to enter in the examination hall. Admit card is available to download only for those candidates who have submitted application form successfully.
