• Candidates will have to register for  PGIMER 2026 via online mode.
• INI CET 2026 & INI SS 2026 Registration form for January session will be accessible in first week of September 2025 and fourth week of September 2025, respectively.

How to Apply for PGIMER 2026 

To apply for PGIMER 2026, candidates should follow the given procedures:

• Step-2: Click on “New Registration” tab and enter your name, email address, phone number etc.
• Step-3: Generate a login ID and proceed to fill the form with personal and educational information.
• Step-4: Upload scanned images of necessary documents in the given format.

• Step-6: Make payment of application fee based on your category.

PGIMER 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, students should meet the PGIMER Eligibility Criteria 2026 as specified below:

For INI CET:

• Nationality: All Indian nationals, OCI and foreign nationals will be allowed to apply.
• Qualification: Applicants must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM/M.Ch and BDS degree for MDS.
• Marks: A minimum of 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST categories must be obtained in qualifying exam.
• Internship: One must have completed a 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training of required period on or before 31st January 2026.

For INI SS:

• Age: Upper Age limit should be 45 years as on 1st January 2026. It will be relaxable by a maximum of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Qualification: Applicants must have obtained a MD/DNB degree for DM courses and MD/MS degree for M.Ch courses.
• Marks: A minimum of 55% marks for the general category and 50% for SC/ST categories.
• Registration: One must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council to be eligible to apply.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

PGIMER 2026 Exam Pattern

For INI CET Exam:

• Mode of Exam: Paper will be conducted through online (computer-based) mode. 
• Duration: Candidates will have 3 hours to solve the paper.
• Questions Type: Exam will consist of Multiple Choices Questions(MCQs).
• Total Questions: A total of 200 questions will be asked in exam.
• Subject-Wise Question Distribution: There will be 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 10 questions each in GK & Aptitude & Logical Thinking.
• Medium: Exam will be available in English language only.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted from student’s total scores for every incorrect answer.

For INI SS Exam:

• Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted via Online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: Candidates will have 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes) to complete Paper.
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in exam.
• Number of Questions: There will be a total of 80 questions in exam.
• Medium:  Questions will be asked in English language.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and loses ⅓ marks for every wrong answer.

PGIMER 2026 Syllabus

PGIMER syllabus 2026 will be given on the website of exam conducting authority. Applicants will be able to check the syllabus separately for INI CET & INI SS exams through online mode. 

The syllabus will be different for both the 6-year and 3-year level courses. The syllabus will include various topics & questions from General/ Basic component of past qualifying examinations and from sub-speciality/ system/ component of speciality course.

PGIMER 2026 Admit Card

PGIMER Admit Card 2026 will be issued only to applicants who have completed all stages of application process. Admit card of INI CET & INI SS for January session will be downloadable in fourth week of October 2025 via online mode after login. 

Applicants should carefully check their information on the PGIMER 2026 hall ticket. In case of discrepancies, candidates should inform the Examination Section through the query portal. 

PGIMER 2026 Result

The result of INI CET & INI SS exam will be declared on 15th November 2025 and on 28th October 2025 for January session. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be bale to access their PGIMER Result 2026 through online mode. 

To access the result, candidates will need to enter their login details like application number and password on the online portal. It is advisable to keep a hard copy of the result for further admission procedures.

PGIMER 2026 Merit List

PGIMER 2026 merit list will be released via online mode after the results announcement. Candidates whose name appears on this list will be eligible to participate in the further counselling process. 

To be listed in the merit list, students should qualify the entrance exam with minimum required scores. The institute will prepare separate or combined merit lists based on overall rank and roll number. 

PGIMER 2026 Cut Off

PFIMER cut off 2026 will determine the eligibility of applicants for admissions into  MD/ MS (6 year) and DM/ M.Ch and MDS (3 year) courses. PGIMER Counselling 2026 will be organised in month of December 2025 for January session. Selection for online counselling process will be based on merit scores and overall rank obtained and choices exercised by applicants.
