- INI CET 2026 & INI SS 2026 Registration form for January session will be accessible in first week of September 2025 and fourth week of September 2025, respectively.

PGIMER 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, students should meet the PGIMER Eligibility Criteria 2026 as specified below:
For INI CET:
- Nationality: All Indian nationals, OCI and foreign nationals will be allowed to apply.
- Qualification: Applicants must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM/M.Ch and BDS degree for MDS.
- Marks: A minimum of 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST categories must be obtained in qualifying exam.
- Internship: One must have completed a 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training of required period on or before 31st January 2026.
For INI SS:
- Age: Upper Age limit should be 45 years as on 1st January 2026. It will be relaxable by a maximum of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Qualification: Applicants must have obtained a MD/DNB degree for DM courses and MD/MS degree for M.Ch courses.
- Marks: A minimum of 55% marks for the general category and 50% for SC/ST categories.
- Registration: One must be registered with Central /State Medical Registration Council to be eligible to apply.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
PGIMER 2026 Exam Pattern

For INI CET Exam:
- Mode of Exam: Paper will be conducted through online (computer-based) mode.
- Duration: Candidates will have 3 hours to solve the paper.
- Questions Type: Exam will consist of Multiple Choices Questions(MCQs).
- Total Questions: A total of 200 questions will be asked in exam.
- Subject-Wise Question Distribution: There will be 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 10 questions each in GK & Aptitude & Logical Thinking.
- Medium: Exam will be available in English language only.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted from student’s total scores for every incorrect answer.
For INI SS Exam:
- Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted via Online (CBT) mode.
- Duration: Candidates will have 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes) to complete Paper.
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in exam.
- Number of Questions: There will be a total of 80 questions in exam.
- Medium: Questions will be asked in English language.
- Marking Scheme: Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer and loses ⅓ marks for every wrong answer.
