OUCET (CPGET) 2024 Counselling will be started from August 2024. OUCET (Osmania University Common Entrance Exam) is conducted by Osmania University. The OUCET is now replaced with CPGET (Common Post Graduation Entrance Test). It is a university level entrance exam conducted every year. The exam is conducted for candidates who want to take admission in various Postgraduate, Postgraduate Diploma and 5-year integrated courses offered by Osmania, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Kakatiya, Universities affiliated colleges in Telangana state. OUCET (CPGET) 2024 Counselling
The counselling for OUCET (CPGET) 2024 will be commenced from August 2024. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list. The counselling will be conducted through online mode for shortlisted candidates.
It will be conducted in various rounds based on availability of seats after each round. OUCET 2024 counselling is based on the marks obtained in common entrance test.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification based on the result. After seat allotment candidates will need to report to the allotted college. Web option will be started from September 2024 for first round. Provisional allotment will be released in September 2024 for first round.

Reservation of Seats
In the given section we have provided reservation criteria for the local and non-local candidates:
Local and Non-Local candidates:
- Admission to 85% of available seats in each course shall be reserved in favor of local candidates in relation to local area of Telangana.
- The remaining 15% of seats which are open to local and non-local shall be filled up subject to similar reservation as applicable to 85% local candidates.
SC, ST, and BC candidates:
- Schedule Caste: 15%
- Schedule Tribe: 6%
Backward class:
- Group A: 7%
- Group B: 10%
- Group C: 1%
- Group D: 7%
- Group E: 4%
EWS: As per the Government Orders of Telangana Govt.

Check the steps to apply for OUCET (CPGET) 2024 counselling procedure provided below:
- The online counselling will be conducted in several rounds.
- First candidates will have to register by entering OUCET roll number and password.
- Then create a login after registration by entering Hall ticket number, rank card, and date of birth.
- After login candidate will have to pay the Processing Fee for different categories.
- For OC/ BC candidates processing fee will be Rs. 200/- and for SC/ ST/ PH is Rs. 150/-.
- After payment, candidates have to upload the original certificates asked by the authority.
- Then review the preliminary online certificate uploaded above and exercise web option.
- After reviewing the documents, seat allotment process will start.
- Then pay the required fee and Download the Joining Report.
- After completing the process, report to the allotted college along with original certificate, fee paid challan, and Joining Report.
- Verification will also be done at the allotted college of original certificates.
- Candidates will receive Allotment order at the college.

Yes, you must have xerox copy of all documents required for verification but it will be compulsory to bring original documents as well.
