OUAT conducts the entrance exam for various UG courses which is known by the name of OUAT Common Entrance Exam (CEE). The exam is a gateway to get admission into B.Sc (Hons.) (Agriculture/ Horticulture/Forestry/Community Science), B.V.Sc & A.H./B.Tech (Agri. Engg.)/B.F.Sc courses.

OUAT 2025 Counselling
OUAT counselling process will be held on the basis of merit of the candidates. Candidates will have to attend the counselling in person on a prescribed schedule. Merit for UG courses will be drawn on the basis of the weighted score of the candidates in the entrance test (50%), HSC examination (25%) and 10+2 examination (25%).
Candidates wishing to get admission in B.Sc. (Forestry), must appear in the Physical Endurance Test. This test will be conducted one day before the day of counselling. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to appear in the counselling process. Admission will be offered to candidates after the commencement of counselling.

OUAT 2025 Selection Procedure
Candidates will be required to fill the online Form-B on the website. Candidates must start this process just after the declaration of results or merit list. At the time of filling Form-B, candidates will need to upload the necessary documents on or before the last date.
Candidates should have to bring the printout of the filled form-B along with the original and self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents. The admission will be purely based on the candidate’s academic records and the performance in the entrance exam. If candidates fails to produce the original documents their candidature will get cancelled by the admission board.
OUAT 2025 Cut Off
The university will set the minimum qualifying cut off marks which every participating candidate will need to obtain to get admission in university. Students must meet 50% or above marks to secure admission in UG course. The university will draw a merit list of selected candidates on the basis of weightage scores.
Applying candidates will be required to achieve at least 25% in HSC examination and 25% in Intermediate examination to be given admission in UG courses. Applicants seeking to get admission in the field of B.Sc (Forestry) will be required to qualify a physical entrance test.

The reservation policy will be decided by the state government of Odisha.

OUAT Admission 2025
A common merit list and category-wise merit list will be prepared for UG courses by the university. Admission will be provided on a counselling basis, followed by fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
The counselling date & time for the shortlisted candidates will be published in the intimation-cum-rank card. Candidates may download it from the website. If seats remain vacant after the conduction of counselling, then spot counselling may be conducted to fill up the vacant seats.
Once a candidate locks his/her choice of college or stream, they will not be allowed to make any changes afterwards. Seats will be allotted on the basis of merit list, preference of course as chosen by the individual & seats availability.

OUAT 2025 Counselling Schedule will be notified to the candidates through the website of the University after the declaration of result. Applicants will be given admission into the university after clearing the OUAT CEE written test and counselling round.
