OUAT 2024 Answer Key

The answer key for OUAT 2024 is released via online mode. Candidates can download it from 18th June 2024 for UG courses. For PG courses, it can be downloaded from 26th July 2024. 

Students can also make objections against answer key for both UG & PG level courses for limited time period. One can download it through login credentials. Through answer key, students can predict their marks before result declaration.

OUAT 2024 Merit List

The merit list for OUAT 2024 is prepared by the officials as common & category wise merit list. It is published via online mode in the form of pdf. All candidates who appear for the exam can check it.

It is prepared on the basis of weighted score obtained by candidates. Merit list is prepared as follows:

OUAT 2024 Counselling

The counselling procedure for OUAT 2024 is on the basis of merit & rank score. It is commenced from 12th August 2024 for UG courses. It has been started from 4th September 2024 for PG courses via online mode. Candidates whose name appear in the merit list further have to participate in the counselling session.

The various round of counselling includes merit list, registration, fee payment, seat allotment & then verification process. Admission is given to candidates only after fee payment & verification process. The following document are required at the time of verification:

OUAT 2024 Application Form

Check following details regarding OUAT 2024 Application Form:

• OUAT 2024 Application Form has been released separately for UG & PG courses.
• The application form for UG courses has been commenced from 1st May 2024.
• Candidates can submit the application form for OUAT 2024 via online mode.
• While making registration, one must not forget to check its eligibility norms as form is accepted only of eligible candidates.
• Applicants must not forget to upload passport size photograph, signature & valid documents in the prescribed format.
• For PG courses, candidates can register from 20th May till 18th June 2024.
• Candidates must enter all asked & required details in the form as incomplete details won’t be accepted.
• Authority may or may not provide any correction facility, so candidates must re-check the details before submission.
• Once the application form gets successfully submitted, he/ she must take its printout for future use.

Application Fee:

• The application fee of OUAT exam can be submitted via online mode.
• Mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
• The application fee is Rs. 1500/- for both UG & PG level courses.
• In any case, registration fee can be non-refundable.

OUAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Check following eligibility criteria before applying for OUAT 2024:

UG Courses:

B.Sc. (Hons.)/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture:

• Qualification: Candidates must pass 12^th class or its equivalent from any recognized board.
• Age Limit: Applicants minimum age must be 17 years as of 31 December 2023.
• Marks: He/She must score minimum 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Subjects: Candidates must pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subjects.
• Appearing: Appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

 B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering):

• Qualification: Qualifying candidate must pass 12^th intermediate or its equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
• Subject: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects to be eligible for admission.
• Marks: He/ She must obtain 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) to be eligible for the examination.

PG Courses:

M.Sc. (Agriculture):

• Qualification: Applying candidate must hold the bachelor’s degree from any recognized university by State/ Central government.
• Marks: He/ She must score atleast 60% marks for general category (50% marks for reserved category).

M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

• Qualification: He/ She must have completed bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
• Marks: Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category).

OUAT 2024 Admit Card

Candidates can download OUAT 2024 Admit Card via online mode. No candidate receives it via post or any other medium. Hall Ticket is available separately for UG & PG courses. It consists of all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam timing, venue & instructions.

It is mandatory for all candidates to download admit card & carry it at exam venue. Along with hall ticket, do not forget to carry one ID proof. Candidates have to use their login credentials to download admit card.

OUAT 2024 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: OUAT 2024 exam is held via online mode.
• Questions Type: Question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s).
• Medium: Exam is in English medium language.
• Duration: Candidates can get 2 hours to solve the paper.
• No. of Questions: There are total of 200 questions in the question paper.
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries +1 mark & there are no negative marking in the question paper.

OUAT 2024 Syllabus

The syllabus of OUAT 2024 is different for every program. The syllabus for UG examination would consist of subjects 12^th class Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Physics: Properties of Solids and Liquids, Oscillation and Waves, Rotational Energy, Communication Systems, Physics and Measurement, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Work Energy and Power, Electronic Devices, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, etc.

Chemistry: States of Matter, General Principles, The surface of Elements and Periodicity of Properties, Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Processes of Isolation of Metals, Surface Chemistry Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, and Molecular Structure, Biomolecules, P-Block Elements, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Environmental Chemistry Organic Chemistry, Polymers etc.

Mathematics: Sets Relations and Functions, Mathematical Induction, Matrices and Determinants, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Limit Continuity and Differentiability, Vector Algebra, Integral Calculus etc.
