JEE Main 2025 Exam Instructions: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting authority of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), releases an information bulletin and advisory every year outlining the exam instructions and guidelines that candidates must follow.

JEE Main 2025 session is completed and results of 39 students were not released because they didn’t follow the guidelines and instructions. These candidates were found to be a part of JEE’s unfair practices.

Candidates who will be going to take the JEE Main 2025 session 2 examinations scheduled to be held between 02nd to 09th April 2025 should be advised to follow the exam guidelines carefully.

Why Were JEE Main Results Canceled?

NTA held the JEE Main session 1 examination for Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) on 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 January 2025 and Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2B (B. Planning), and Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning both) will be held on 30th January 2025. 

A total of 39 candidates in different shifts and days were found to breaking the rules and regulations of the examination. NTA has not disclosed detailed reasons for each cancellation.

Candidates’ results are canceled if they are found using unfair means, violating exam hall rules, engaging in malpractice, or attempting impersonation. These are some of the common reasons for JEE Main exam disqualification.

JEE Guidelines For Exam Day & Exam Hall

Eligible candidates who will be taking the exam are required to adhere to some JEE guidelines on the day. Only those who will follow the rules and regulations properly will be allowed to take the exam, check below how to avoid disqualification in JEE April attempt:

  • Go through the complete JEE advisory and chapter 5 under 5.5 Unfair means practices.
  • On the exam day you are required to carry a few documents such as a JEE Main admit card, valid proof, and a passport-size photograph. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam center without these documents.
  • Reach the exam center before the call time, so that if you face any issues or trouble you have time to fix it.
  • Do not carry any barrier item, electronic device, bag, pieces of paper, extra documents, etc.
  • Strictly follow the JEE main dress code.
