NIMCET 2024: Counselling (Started), Allotment (Out), Cut Off

NIMCET 2024 Seat Allotment (Special Round) has been released. Cut Off has been released for first round. It is a Common Entrance National Level Examination conducted by National Institute of Technology (NITs) on rotation basis. This year, examination is being organised by NIT Jamshedpur. This exam is conducted for admission into MCA programme. The scores of NIMCET will be accepted by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) and Warangal. NIMCET 2024 Answer Key

Authority has released the NIMCET answer key after the commencement of exam. Candidates are able to access the answer key through online mode only. To calculate the expected scores in the NIMCET 2024 entrance exam candidates can access the answer key.

Before the announcement of the result, NIMCET 2024 answer key has  published on the website. The objection facility is also provided by the authority from 11th to 13th June 2024. NIMCET 2024 Application Form

• NIMCET 2024 application form procedure has been started from 1st March 2024.
• Registration form is available through online mode only. No offline mode is available to submit the form.

NIMCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to fulfil the given NIMCET eligibility criteria 2024 before filling out the application form:

• Qualifying Exam: Candidates with any Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/ statistics for a minimum of 3 years full time or B.E/ B.Tech or some equivalent exam from a recognized University are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Applicants must have completed their B.Sc/ B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT for 3 years from Open Universities are also able to apply for the entrance exam.
• Marks: Candidates of Indian National must have at least 60% as aggregate or 6.5/ 10 CGPA and 55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST will also be applied for the exam.
• Appearing: Candidates those are appearing in the final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.

NIMCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The complete NIMCET exam pattern 2024 is given below:

• Mode of Exam: Exam is conducted through online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: Total 2 hours (120 minutes) were given to solve the paper.
• Total Question: Total 120 questions were asked in the exam.
• Type of Questions: Exam consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) pattern only.
• Language: Only English language was available in the exam.
• Sections: Exam paper was divided into 4 sections. There will be different marks of each section.
• Marking Scheme: For each correction response 4 marks are awarded.
• Negative Marking: 25% marks is deducted for every wrong answer.
