National Institute of Design (NID) has released NID 2025 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It is conducted for admission to B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India.

NID 2025 Exam Dates – Released

NID 2025 Exam Date has been announced. DAT Prelims exam will be conducted on 5th January 2025. Check other dates from below.

NID exam is conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exams, the authority will prepare a final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses.

Pre- Examination Schedule:

The NID 2025 Application Form has been made available from 3rd September 2024. Last date to fill the application form is till 3rd December 2024. The application form is made available through online mode.

The conducting authority will also provide facility to review and edit the application form 4th to 9th December 2024.

The exam conducting authority will release the NID admit card 2025 through online mode. Admit card will be made available on 24th December 2024 (DAT prelim). It will be released 14th April 2025 for B.Des Mains and 24th February 2025 for M.Des Mains.

NID 2025 Examination will be conducted in two stages: preliminary and mains. DAT 2025 prelim exam will be conducted on 5th January 2025. DAT 2025 main exam will be conducted on 26th April to 4th May 2024 for B.Des. For B.Des, it will be held from 3rd March to 6th April 2025.

University will also release the cut off marks for providing admission in the respective course.

Post-Examination Schedule:

Authority will release the provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates will also have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode. The final NID answer key for DAT will be released in May 2025.

The NID 2025 Result for prelim exam will be announced on 17th February 2025 for M.Des & will be declared on 1st April 2025 for B.Des and final result will be declared on 6th May 2025 for M.Des & for B.Des it will be declared on 16th May 2025.

Result will be made available in online mode. Based on score obtained in NID prelim, a separate merit list will be prepared by the authority for each category.

Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates will be called for NID DAT 2025 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on total sum of weightage score secured by the candidate in prelim and mains exam.

The NID 2025 Counselling will start in the fourth week of May 2025 for B.Des. courses. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counselling as per their rank.

The counselling procedure will be organized through a zoom meeting. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
