NID Admit Card 2025, Exam Instructions: Get B.Des Hall Ticket

NID 2025 Admit Card will be released in the third week of April 2025 for B.Des (Mains). DAT (Design Aptitude Test) is the national level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission in NID affiliated campuses and various design institutions.

NID Admit Card 2025

Candidates are advised to download their admit card on stipulated time to avoid any rush at the last moment. Candidates are instructed to check the printed admit card carefully. Check each and every detail, if there is any discrepancy in the admit card should immediately contact the officials.

Admit card for the shortlisted candidates for DAT Mains will be made available to download on the website. The admit card will not be posted to any candidate on their registered address. Do not write anything on the admit card and bring one photo ID proof along with it.

NID Admit Card Date 2025

NID admit cards will be downloaded from the website through online mode. Exam conducting authority will release the NID admit card 2025 for prelim exam. Admit card will be made available in the second week of December 2024 (DAT prelim) for both B.Des and M.Des.

For M.Des (Mains), the admit card will be issued in the third week of February 2025. For mains, the admit card will be released in the third week of April 2025 for B.Des.

After successful completion of the written test, the answer key will be released in February 2025 for M.Des. NID final result for M.Des will be declared in fourth week of April 2025. For B.Des. course, it will be announced in the third week of May 2025.

How to Download Admit Card

• A new page will be displayed on the screen.
• Fill your login details such as email address, DOB & security code.
• After filling the details, click on ‘Submit’ button.
• Your admit card will be opened in pdf format.
• Print the downloaded admit card and keep 1-2 printouts of it.

Documents Required on NID 2025 Exam Day

Applicants will be required to carry their hall ticket on the exam day. Admit card will be a very important document for applicants to appear for the NID exam. If an applicant fails to bring their hall ticket on exam, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Students must also bring their one identity proof along with the hall ticket. Candidates may carry any one photo ID card from the following:

• Aadhar card
• Voter ID
• Passport
• Driving license.

How to Retrieve a Forgotten Password?

The following are the steps to retrieve the forgotten password:

• Visit the NID website (link will be mentioned above).
• Click on Admission 2025 link.
• Press on Forgot Password link.
• Enter your email address and date of birth.
• Click on Submit button.
• Now, SMS will be sent to the registered email address along with the ID and password.
• Note down the ID and password from the page.

Important Points to Remember

Candidates must go through given guidelines for NID 2025 exam day:

• Applicants must reach the examination hall before the commencement of exam.
• It will be compulsory for applicants to carry their hall ticket along with one photo ID proof.
• Students will not be allowed to bring any barred items inside the examination hall.
• No candidate will leave their seat until the exam concludes as per schedule.
• Electronic items such as smartphones, smart watches, earphones etc will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

Test Centers for DAT Prelims

NID may add or remove any test centre of the candidate’s choice and allot a different test centre which will not be the candidate’s choice.

Any request for change of test centre will not be entertained in any case. Candidates those have applied under the Overseas category for M.Des. and B.Des. programmes will be  required to appear for their DAT Prelims in person at NID Ahmedabad. The DAT Prelims will be conducted in various parts of India:

Patna, Panjim, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada. , Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai and Nagpur.
