NEST 2025 Result
Candidates will be able to view their results only through online mode from the website. NEST 2025 Results will be announced by the authority in second week of July 2025. Candidates will be able to check the result by entering their roll number/ application number & date of birth. Candidates should save their result safely till the admission procedure gets over.
NEST Cut Off 2025 will be made available through online mode. The cut off will be the qualifying marks which applicants will have to secure in the NEST 2025 exam to be eligible for the admission. It will be released after the announcement of the result.
NEST 2025 Result Releasing Date
NEST exam will be conducted in fourth week of June 2025. It will be organised through online mode (CBT Based). Candidates will be able to check NEST Result 2025 only through online mode from the website.
It will be declared in second week of July 2025. After a few days of the result declaration, the institute will organize their counselling procedure separately.
NEST Counselling 2025 will be conducted separately by both the participating institutions. Those students who will appear for the entrance exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling rounds.
NEST 2025 Merit List
Candidates will be able to check the NEST Merit List on the same day of the announcement of result. In the NEST 2025, there will be four sections which include the general subjects containing 17 questions each. Section 1 (General Section) will be compulsory to attempt. Candidates will have to attempt ‘as many’ from the subject sections.
NEST Merit List 2025 will be prepared on the basis of the score of a general section along with three best scores from the remaining subject sections. In the other words, the section in which candidates score worst marks will be discarded during merit list calculation.

- Now, fill your Roll Number OR Application Number & Date of Birth.

Tie Break Rules:
- In case two or more applicants obtain equal score, candidates with the higher score in general section will get a better rank.
- If the tie remains happen, then the best scores in the subject section of two candidates will be compared. Candidates who have the better score in any of the subject sections will get a better rank.
- If the tie still persists, then candidates will be given same provisional rank at the time of NEST Result 2025 declaration & the tie will be broken by comparing 12th class marks & date of birth in that order, during admission/counselling.
NEST Counselling 2025
The counselling procedure of NEST 2025 will be organized by NISER and UM-DAE CEBS separately for admission to the M.Sc course. Only those candidates who gets shortlisted in merit list will be eligible to appear in the counselling procedure of NEST 2025.
NEST 2025 Counselling will be conducted through offline mode in the university campuses. Candidates will have to be physically present on the day of counselling. Candidates will also have to bring their original documents along with two self-attested photocopies.
