NEET UG 2025 Exam Mode: More than 20 lakh candidates are expected to take the upcoming NEET.

NTA the exam conducting authority is expected to conduct the NEET 2025 examination in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. This shift aims to improve the transparency and integrity of the exam process.
The decision to change the exam mode came to light after the conduct of NEET UG 2024. Last year’s paper leak incident affected many students.
No official details about the NEET UG 2025 Exam Mode have been announced yet. However, the Ministry of Health, the National Testing Agency (NTA), and a newly formed independent monitoring committee, led by former ISRO Chief K. Radhakrishnan, are discussing the matter on priority.
This committee is working to address concerns about the paper leak allegations and recommend measures to strengthen the examination process. Candidates can expect major changes in NEET UG 2025 pattern for the upcoming session.
Will NEET 2025 be in CBT mode?
The offline conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has become an issue among medical aspirants, teachers. In the year 2024, it was found that there were various issues in NEET examination process including chatting, paper leaks, and Imitation cases.
The education minister Dharmendra Pradhan in an interview has said that NTA will remain the conducting body of NEET and the authority is also working on the suggestion to conduct the NEET UG examination in online (CBT) mode.
As per the research it has been found that there are chances that NEET will be held in online mode from the year 2025 and can be also conducted twice in year mains and prelims. Candidates should note that the final decision on NEET exam mode will be made by the Medical Commission (NMC).
