NEET UG 2025 Exam Mode: NTA NEET UG registration is ongoing and more than 20 lakh candidates are expected to take the upcoming NEET.
Last year the national level medical exam was in the news because of unfair practices and this year as of today the discussions are about the mode of exam & changes.
NTA the exam conducting authority has released the NEET 2025 information bulletin. Which also gives clarity over doubts that candidates have.
The examination mode has been changed for the NEET UG 2025 session to aim to improve the transparency and integrity of the exam process.
Along with the change in exam mode, the authority is also going to conduct the NEET 2025 exam as per the pre-COVID format.
The decision to change the exam mode came to light after the conduct of NEET UG 2024. Last year’s paper leak incident affected many students.
Will NEET 2025 be in CBT mode?
The offline conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has become an issue among medical aspirants, teachers. In the year 2024, it was found that there were various issues in NEET examination process including chatting, paper leaks, and Imitation cases.
To conduct the exam more safely the National Testing Agency is going to conduct the NEET 2025 exam in pen-paper-based, offline mode. The exam will be conducted once a year. Candidates should note that the final decision on NEET exam mode was made by the Medical Commission (NMC).

On 4th May 2025 NEET UG exam will take place and notification regarding the same has been released on NTA NEET 2025 official website through online mode.
