NEET PG 2025 Exam Pattern
The National Board of Examination (NBE) will release the exam pattern along with notification for NEET PG 2025. Candidates preparing for NEET PG 2025 are advised to go through its exam pattern.
Through exam pattern, candidates will be able to understand the syllabus, marking scheme, nature of questions and number of questions etc of NEET PG 2025.
- Exam mode: NEET PG 2025 will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
- Exam Date: NEET PG 2025 will be scheduled in second week of August 2025.
- Section: Five Time Bound Sections (A, B, C, D & E) have been introduced by NBE.
- Type of Questions: Exam paper will have multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) with four options & single correct answer.
- Number of Questions: There will be total 40 questions in each of five sections. Total number of questions will be 200.
- Time: Total time duration will be 3.5 hours.
- Language: Medium of the question paper will be English.
- Marking: For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.
- For unattempted questions no marks will be deducted.

NEET PG 2025 Cut Off
Cut off will be the minimum marks required to be eligible for admission procedure. The national board of examination (NBE) will release the cut off percentile and cut off score of NEET PG.
If NEET PG cut off needs to be revised it will be only done on the basis of instruction issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
NEET PG 2025 Result Scope
- All India 50% quota seats for MS/ MD/ PG diploma courses in all states except Jammu & Kashmir.
- State quota seats for MS/ MD/ PG diploma courses for all states and Union territories (including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir).
- MS/ MD/ PG diploma courses at all private & deemed medical institutes across the country.
- MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
