NEET UG 2025 Exam Format: National Testing today on 25th January 2025 has announced details regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG) exam format for session 2025.
A notice has been released regarding clarification on the question paper pattern and examination duration for NEET UG 2025.
On behalf of National Medical Commission from 2010 NTA is conducting the NEET exam and for the upcoming examination, the format is reverted to the pre-COVID format. NEET UG 2025 will be held in May 2025.
Is NEET 2025 Exam Format Changed?
Yes, NTA NEET UG 2025 examination format has been changed, the exam will revert to the pre-COVID format. For the upcoming session, the question paper pattern and examination duration have been reverted.
There is going to be no section B anymore in NEET exam. A total of 180 compulsory questions (45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology) will be there. Candidates will have to attempt the all questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). Candidates should note that optional questions and extra time given due to COVID are now removed.
