MAHE MET 2025 Exam Pattern
MET 2025 Exam Pattern is different for a number of courses offered by the University. Candidates must go through the complete exam pattern before starting the exam preparation. Below we have provided the exam pattern for some of the courses:
For B.Tech Programme:
- Exam Mode: The test is organised in an online CBT mode.
- Type of Questions: The paper will consist of multiple choice questions & numerical type questions.
- Subjects: The questions will be asked from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and General Aptitude.
- Time Duration: The total time duration to complete the test will be 2 hours.
- Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of a total of 60 questions.
- Physics and Chemistry section will contain 10 MCQs & 5 NATs.
- Whereas, the Mathematics section will contain 15 MCQs; 5 NATs and 10 questions from General Aptitude & English.
The marks distribution table is given below:

- Exam Mode: The entrance test is organised in online mode.
- Type of Questions: The exam paper consists of multiple choice questions from five subjects.
- Subjects: The questions are asked from the subjects of Conceptual, numeracy, General awareness, General English, and Case study.
- Time Duration: The total time duration to complete the test is 2 hours.
- Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of a total of 100 questions.
- Numeracy, General Awareness, and General English will contain 20 questions each.
- Whereas, in Conceptual there will be 25 questions and 15 questions of Case study.

- There will be 50 questions from the discipline selected by the candidate and 10 questions from engineering mathematics.

MAHE MET 2025 Marking Scheme
MET 2025 marking scheme for admission into various programmes is discussed below:
- There will be no negative marking in numerical answer type questions.
- 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer in MCQ.
- +4 marks will be awarded for every correct response.
- The score of a student will depend upon the number of correct responses made without any deduction for wrong responses.
