Applicants can check out the following courses offered at MCU:

Following are the tentative dates of MCU admission 2025:

MCU 2025 Application Form

Candidates must go through the important instructions related to MCU application form 2025:

• MCU 2025 application form will be released through online mode.
• Applicants will be able to do registration in the third week of April 2025.
• Fill the application form by providing required information such as personal, educational, communicational details etc.
• Students must upload the scanned images of required documents within specific size and format. 
• It will be mandatory to submit an application fee, as no unpaid form will be accepted by the university.
• Applicants must enter correct and valid details in application form, as no correction facility will be provided further to edit mistakes in application form.
• The last date to apply will be in the second week of June 2025.
• Candidates should take a hard copy of application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application Fee: 

• For MCU admission, the application fee will be Rs. 500/- (Rs. 50/- portal fee extra). 
• The application fee will be waived except portal fee of Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST category.
• For each admission program, applicants will be required to pay Rs. 300/- (plus portal fee of Rs. 50/-).
• Applicants will be able to pay application fee by using SBI, HDFCs gateways. 

MCU Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check out the eligibility criteria of MCU admission 2025:

For B.Tech. (Printing and Packaging):

• Qualification: Candidates should have passed class 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
• Marks: Applicants will be required to score at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category).
• Subject: Students must have Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Biology/ IT/ Electronics/ Vocational subjects. OR
• Candidates should have passed three years Diploma examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category category).

For MBA (Media Business Management):

• Qualification: Students must be graduated in any discipline from a recognized university/ institute.
• Marks: Applicants should obtain at least 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates.

MA (Broadcast Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Advertising and Public Relations):

Students must be graduated in any discipline from a recognized university.

MCU 2025 Admission Procedure

Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication organizes admission procedure for the shortlisted candidates. Admission will be offered on the basis of merit and entrance exam conducted by university. 

Candidates whose names appear in merit list or one who qualifies the entrance exam will be required to appear in interview round. The final admission will be given to students after the interview and verification of documents.

MCU 2025 Entrance Exam

The university conducts entrance exam to offer admission in some courses. Exam will contain Objective type questions. Admit Card for the same will be released via online mode.

Questions asked in entrance exam will be related to the course opted by candidates like for MBA. There will be reasoning, fact analysis, quantitative technique, GK, language proficiency. Complete details related to entrance exam and schedule will be uploaded on the website.

MCU 2025 Result/ Merit List 

The MCU Merit List 2025 will be released through online mode. It will contain the list of students selected for further admission procedure. On the basis of merit list, the university will provide provisional admission to candidates. 

Applicants whose names appear in merit list must submit the prescribed fee of the course within a stipulated time. Candidates will be able to check the merit list from the website. 

MCU 2025 Counselling

MCU Counselling 2025 will be organized for shortlisted candidates. Applicants who selected in merit list or qualify entrance exam will be eligible to appear in counselling procedure.

Students will need to report at a counselling venue to appear for counselling. Candidates must have all the required documents asked for verification procedure.
