Application Fee:
The application fee varies for different groups:
- Fee for General candidates is Rs.500/- (additional portal fee of Rs.50/-)
- For ST/ SC of MP, fee is waived except portal fee of Rs.50/-
- For each additional program, fee of Rs.300 (+portal fee Rs.50/-).
- For Group H courses, fee is Rs.300/- (additional portal fee of Rs.50/-) & for each additional program, fee of Rs.200 (+portal fee Rs.50/-). For ST/ SC of MP, just portal fee must be paid.
Payment mode: Online fee payment is accepted. SBI. HDFCs Gateway is given priority for fee payment.

MCU 2024 Admission Procedure
Admission procedure in Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication has begin the application forms for 2024 session through online mode. Registrations in various UG/ PG courses is remain open till 30th August 2024.
Candidates desiring admission in various courses have to appear for entrance exam or admission is based on merit scores of qualifying exams. After qualifying exam, candidates have to participate in interview or counselling process for final admission into the university.
MCU Entrance Exam 2024
MCNUJC organise university entrance test to provide admission on merit basis into various courses. Complete details of entrance exam and schedule is posted online on the website. Students are also able to download admit card using form number on the website.
The exam paper have objective type of questions. Questions asked in the test are related to the offered specialisations like MBA paper have questions related to reasoning, quantitative technique and fact analysis, G.K and language proficiency. Students appearing for exam is given question papers along with OMR at the exam centres.
MCU 2024 Result/ Merit List
The University has release result along with the list of candidates (meri list) qualifying the entrance exam. Based on the merit released, provisional admission is given to the candidates.
Students selected in merit list must submit the prescribed fee of the course with the prescribed time. The entry of candidates is prohibited or cancelled if the admission fee is not submitted within the time frame.
MCU 2024 Counselling
Students selected in the merit is considered eligible for participation in counselling/ interview process. Selected candidates are required to appear at the counselling venue/ institute with all the documents/ certificates.
