Admission Procedure
MBBS admission in Madhya Pradesh will be done through entrance test namely NEET UG. MBBS/BDS aspirants need to appear this entrance test for taking admission. The qualifiers will be invited for the counselling process. For 15% All India quota seats, counselling will be administered by MCC and DHGS and for rest of the seats, counselling will be carried out by the state colleges.

Entrance Exam
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) is the entrance test through which admission into first year MBBS/BDS programme is offered. It is the national level entrance test conducted by CBSE. The board has conducted NEET-UG on 7th May 2017.

MBBS Admission 2017
Aspiring candidates can fill the application form of NEET UG in the 31st January 2017. The last date to fill and submit the application form was 1st March 2017. Eligibility required for MBBS admission in Madhya Pradesh 2017 is mentioned below:
- Candidates should be of Indian nationality/OCI.
- At the time of admission, candidate’s age should be 17 years.
- Students must have passed 10+2 and secured 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% marks for SC/ST and 45% for physically handicapped candidates).
- It is necessary for the candidates to secure passing marks in PCB and English individually at qualifying examination.
- To take admission in MBBS/BDS programme, candidates need to pass the entrance test with qualifying marks.
Selection Procedure
For admission to medical colleges of MP in MBBS course, the candidate must have given NEET UG. The admission in medical courses will be done through counseling. For counselling candidates have to complete the document verification round. The seat allocation will be on the basis of NEET UG 2017 rank secured by the candidates. After seat allotment through counselling, students are required to report to the allotted college.
