AP MBBS/ BDS 2025 Admission Procedure

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance test) is the only entrance examination through which a candidate can apply for M.B.B.S/ B.D.S courses in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is mandatory for a candidate to appear and then subsequently qualify the NEET 2025 exams to apply for medical and dental courses in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Entrance Test

NEET is the only entrance test through which a candidate can apply for medical and dental courses in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. As the state does not conduct any other state specific entrance examination or does not participate in any other entrance test for M.B.B.S/ B.D.S courses it is necessary for the candidates to participate and then qualify in the NEET 2025 exams in order to be eligible to apply.

Arunachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS Admission 2025

Candidates should fulfill the given eligibility criteria:

  • The Candidate must have passed 12th class in the recognized board/ institute with Chemistry, Physics, and Biotechnology/ Biology subjects.
  • The candidate needs to have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks (for general category) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group/ 45% (Physically Handicapped category)/ 40% (Reserved Category candidates).
  • The candidates must be within the age range of 17 to 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year but for reserved category applicants the maximum age limit is of 30 years.

Selection Process

The counselling will be conducted within a few days of the NEET 2025 written examination result after the authority releases the state merit list for the selected candidates. The seats will be allotted after the verification of the original documents and choice filling procedure.

If the candidate remains absent during counselling then their candidature will be cancelled as per rules. After the seat allotment, candidates will have to report to the allotted college for final admission. Candidates also have to pay the admission fee at the time of taking admission.
