Entrance Exam
Candidates wishing to take admission in the law courses are required to appear the entrance test. Some Universities/Institutions of Madhya Pradesh regulate their own entrance test for providing admission. CLAT is the All India level law entrance test whose scores are considered by several law courses.

Law Admission 2017
Admission process of law colleges of Madhya Pradesh varies from college to college. Some of them conduct their own entrance test and some of them provides admission on the basis of qualifying examination. CLAT is one of the law entrance exam conducted by 17 NLUs rotationally. The application form of CLAT 2017 has been released from 1st January 2017.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification eligibility for UG and PG law admission in Madhya Pradesh 2017 is different. For LLB, candidates must have completed graduation with 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for reserved category candidates.
- For LLM course, prescribed qualification is LL.B passed with 55% mark for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST category.
- For integrated law courses like B.A.LL.B., BBA.LL.B., minimum educational qualification of 10+2 is required.
- There is no restriction in the upper age limit for law courses.
Selection Procedure
Most of the law colleges/Universities regulates their own entrance test for providing admission. Some colleges considers the qualifying examination for providing admission. Merit list will be prepared as per the candidate;s performance in entrance test or qualifying exam. The priority will be given to those candidates who have secured highest rank. After the publication of merit list, students are called for the counselling process. During the counselling procedure, candidates have to select the choices for the colleges. Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank scored and the choices of their preference. The candidates are required to report to the assigned institute with seat allotment letter for taking admission in law.
