This is a state level entrance examination conducted to offer admission in PG courses i.e. MBA, PGDM, MCA. KMAT Karnataka exam is conducted for admission in AICTE approved university affiliated self financing colleges across the Karnataka. Examination is conducted one time each for admission. KMAT Karnataka 2024 Admit Card
KMAT Karnataka Admit card of Session 2 has been released through online mode on the website. It is made available on 14th November 2024 for Session II. Candidates must enter login details to get their admit card. Students are advised to report 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the exam for verification process & security check.
Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to appear for the examination. Candidates are also advised to take a printout of the admit card for further references. Admit card contain details i.e. name of the candidate, exam date, exam time, photograph & application number of the candidates.

KMAT Karnataka 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Here, candidates must check complete KMAT Karnataka Eligibility before filling the application form:
For MBA/ PGDM:
- Qualification: Candidates must have minimum 3 years bachelors degree/ master’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university/ institute.
- Marks Criteria: One should obtain minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for reserved category) in their qualifying degree.
- Appearing: Final year appearing candidates are also be eligible to apply.
For MCA Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates must be graduated from a recognised university/institute to be eligible for exam.
- Subjects: Candidates must have studies mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or graduation level.
- Marks Criteria: It is necessary to have 50% marks in graduation degree to be eligible.
- Appearing: Candidates those are appearing in final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
KMAT Karnataka 2024 Answer Key
KMAT Karnataka answer key will be released by various coaching institutes. Authority may or may not release the answer keys to the candidates. Answer key will be released after conduct of the exam. Through this, candidates will be able to get an idea about their estimate scores.
Answer key will have the questions asked in the examination with the correct answers. Answer key will include answers of different set of question papers. After the release of answer key by various institutes or authority, result will be declared.
KMAT Karnataka 2024 Result
KMAT Karnataka Result will be declared in the first week of December 2024 for Session II. It will be announced via online mode on the website. Candidates will be able to check their result via login details i.e. application number or date of birth. Candidates who will appeared the examination will only be able to check their results.
KMAT Karnataka 2024 Result will be released in the form of score card. Candidates must take the printout of KMAT Karnataka 2024 score card for future purpose. It will be valid for one year only. In case of any discrepancy in result, candidates must contact the officials immediately.
If candidates will not appeared in the exam due to any reason, their candidature can be cancelled & no result will be released for them. Result will consist with the name of Candidate, total marks obtained, section wise marks scored etc.
KMAT Karnataka 2024 Cut Off
KMAT Karnataka 2024 cut off will be released with or after the declaration of result. Cut off will be the minimum marks that candidates have to obtain in the examination. Candidates who have scored the minimum cut off marks will only be selected to attend the further admission procedure.
It will be released in December 2024. Candidates will be able to get admission in the courses based on the cut off marks. Candidates will also be able to check the cut off of each participating institute.
Cut off marks will depend on various factors such as difficulty level of the exam, last year cut off marks, total candidates appeared in the exam, total number of seat & number of institutes available.
KMAT Karnataka 2024 Counselling/ Admission
Centralised counselling procedure is not organised for KMAT Karnataka. It will be organised by various participating institutes after few days of the declaration of result. KMAT Karnataka Counselling will be organised in various rounds. Candidates those have selected for the counselling, will be able to download their counselling letter from the website.
Candidates who have scored equal or more than cut off marks will be able to participate the counselling. Various institutes will release the list of shortlisted candidates. Final admission will be offered after competing the various rounds i.e. seat allotment, document verification, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, WAT (written ability test) etc.
Candidates are advised to reach the allotted centre on the specific day & time with required documents and admission fee to confirm seats.
