State Test
KEAM is an acronym for Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical, is the state level entrance test for the B.Tech admission in the kerala state. Every year CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examination) conducts the KEAM entrance examination for those aspiring students who seeks to pursue Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of Engineering from the Kerala state. The entrance exam of KEAM 2016 is conducted in the month of April every year.
B.Tech Admission 2016
For the B.Tech admission in Kerala state, aspirants have to apply for the KEAM 2016 or JEE Main 2016 examination. The application form will be available in online mode only. Follow all the instructions mentioned in the information brochure and fill the form carefully followed by the online payment procedure. The applying candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from the recognized board with the aggregate of 50% in PCM. Also, the age of the candidate should be more than 17 years before 31st, December 2016. The candidates can download the result from the official site of the board after the result declaration.
Beside KEAM, some of the national level institutions like NITs and IITs offer the seat on the basis of JEE Main 2016 score.

- Domicile of the candidate
- Caste Certificate in case of reserved category
- Character Certificate of the candidate

- Admit Card & Rank Card of JEE Main/KEAM
Selection Process
The colleges are allotted to the students on the basis of the rank he/she secured in KEAM 2016 or JEE Main 2016 exam. The candidates who qualify the KEAM or JEE Main exam can apply for the B.Tech/B.E admission in the Kerala state. For the completion of the admission procedure, candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The candidates can get the seat in the college according to the choice and the rank scored by the candidates. Pay the requisite fee to the conducting authority to appear in the counseling. The candidates can fill the choices of desired college/institute or the B.Tech streams any number of times. Take the printout of the seat allotment letter and bring it along with all the necessary documents to the designated college for further admission process.
