The complete exam analysis for JEE Main 2025 will be updated after the conclusion of the shifts. Examination for session I will be held from third to fourth week of January 2025. The exam for Session II will be held from second to third week of April 2025 for Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech), Shift 1 & Shift 2) & Paper 2 (Paper 2A & 2B – B.Arch/ B.Plan).

After the students appear for the exam, complete analysis will be updated online. Students will be provided complete exam analysis for both sessions and also answer keys after the exam shifts.

Day 6 (12th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students:

The Session I paper II of JEE Main 2024 Exam has been successfully conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. As per the students reactions, the paper was moderate to difficulty in difficulty level.

Day  5 (9th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The Day 5 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2024 Session II Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. Overall paper was considered to be moderately difficulty.

The majority of students reported that the Physics section was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. Chemistry part was easy to moderate whereas Mathematics section was bit lengthy.

The exam was similar to Session 1 with a little moderate to difficult level seen in Mathematics. This time paper was better than January session as per students.

Day 4 (8th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The Day 4 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2024 Session II Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. The overall paper has been rated moderately difficulty.

Students said Maths section was tough compared to other sections. The paper was lengthy, 2 questions were asked from Circle, Hyperbola, Vector 3D & Matrix.

The Physics paper was moderate. There were questions from thermodynamics, Bernoulli’s equation & direct lines from NCERT was picked.

Chemistry section was rated easy to moderate. Question from organic & physical were less. Co-ordination compound was there. Also, there were NCERT based questions.

Day 3 Shift I (6th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2024 Exam has been conducted on 6th April 2024 successfully. According to the students review about exam, the physics paper was easy, Mathematics paper was moderate and chemistry paper was easy to moderate.

In Mathematics, questions were asked from all chapters with emphasis on chapters on algebra and calculus. The numerical section had lengthy calculations from chapters of calculus and coordinate geometry. A few questions were reported as lengthy and tricky, Batlish said.

In Shift 1, the difficulty level of the physics paper was easy, he added. Numerical-based questions although lengthy were easy. Few fact-based questions from Class 12 chapters of NCERT were also asked.

The FIITJEE head said, “The chemistry paper was easy to moderate”. Organic chemistry was given more weightage compared to inorganic and physical chemistry and some fact-based questions from NCERT were asked.

Day 2 Shift I (5th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2024 Exam has been successfully conducted from 9:00 Am to 12:00 Noon. As per the students reactions, the overall paper was moderate..

In Physics section, there were questions from topics – modern physics (3 or 4 questions), Gravitation ( 3 questions), Semiconductors & Kinetic energy. Physics part was considered Easy (Formula-based)

In Chemistry section, there were topics biomolecule, mole concept, chemical kinetics, electrochemistry, etc. Overall this section was considered moderate by students. 

In Mathematics section, there were topics like 3D & vectors (4 to 5 questions), Differential (2 questions), Integration (expanded form). Overall, it was moderate in difficulty level but it was lengthy/ calculative.

Day 1 (4th April 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 2):

he Day 1 shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2024 Session II Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. As per student’s feedback, Physics paper was easy to moderate but easier than Chemistry & Mathematics.

Chemistry exam was tough & Mathematics was moderate to tough. Though, Maths part was lengthy & calcuative.

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The Day 1 Shift 1 Paper of JEE Main 2024 Session II Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. Each section has its own uniqueness & difficulty level of exam. Some said Physics was toughest while other said Mathematics was challenging as always. Shift 1 was concluded from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon.

In Mathematics section, the opinion was divided. Students reported a moderate challenge with a mix of lengthy calculus problems & probability questions.

Physics part was comparatively easier than Mathematics as per students. Chemistry was easier among all three sections.

Therefore, overall question paper was moderate in terms of difficulty.

Day 1 (24th January 2024):

Analysis According to Students:

The Day 1 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students, the overall paper was moderate. The exam was conducted in a single shift b/w 3:00 to 6:30 PM. The level of paper was easy to moderate as per students.

In Mathematics section, the paper was easy. Candidates said, there were some tricky questions but candidates were able to solve them.

In Aptitude part, questions were based on spatial reasoning, visualisation & mental ability. In Drawing part, students was asked to show their technical skill & creative interpretation.

Day 1 (27th January 2024):

Analysis According to Students (Shift 1):

The Day 2 shift paper of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam Analysis has been updated after its conclusion. As per candidate’s feedback, candidates ranges from moderate to tough with physics was relatively moderate.

In Mathematics, Numerical based questions were easy to moderate. Students felt more weightage were given to XII Class Chapters.

In Chemistry, Organic Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Physical & Inorganic Chemistry.

Overall Mathematics was moderate while Physics was easy.

Day 1 (29th January 2024):

The Day 1 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students, the overall paper was moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions which were easy in difficulty level. Whereas, Chemistry & Mathematics section were considered moderate in difficulty level.

In chemistry section there were NCERT based questions from Physical chemistry and organic chemistry. 5 questions were from polymers and biomolecules and 3D vectors in Mathematics section. Also there were 4 questions from alternating current and magnetism as per students.

Day 1 Shift II (6th April 2023):

The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been successfully conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per the students reactions, the paper was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics – circular motion, semiconductor, assertion questions, etc. It was considered easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were topics related to environmental chemistry, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, etc. Overall this section was considered easy to moderate by students. There were mostly questions from NCERT.

In Mathematics section, there were topics like calculus, statistics, coordinate geometry, calculus, 3D vector, etc. So, overall this section was calculative and relatively lengthy.

The Day 2 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. According to the aspirants, the overall paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions which were easy and topics were from semiconductor, fluid mechanics, etc.

In Chemistry section, the asked questions were easy, and most of them were from physical (Numerical), NCERT based, polymer, biomolecules, etc.

In Mathematics section, the paper was lengthy in nature containing questions based on probability, sequence and series more.

The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. According to the appeared students, the overall paper was easier than the session 1 attempt.

Physics section had questions from topics – Gravitation, moment of inertia, unit and dimension, communication, etc. Overall this section was considered easy.

The Chemistry section was also considered easy in difficulty level and there were questions from topics like polymers, biomolecules, etc.

However about the Mathematics section, students considered it comparatively tougher than the other two subjects. It was lengthy and calculative in nature.

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been conducted for 10th April successfully. According to the students review about exam, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level.

For Mathematics section, most of the questions were from mathematical reasoning. It was calculative and lengthy one.

For Chemistry section, students said that the paper had almost covered all the topics like – Biomolecules, polymer, chromatography, etc. There were less questions in physical chemistry on comparison to inorganic and organic chemistry.

In physics section, there were most topics from ray optics, 11th mechanics focused more, communication system, thermodynamic, etc.

The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam is updated after its conclusion. As per the students feedback this shift was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Chemistry, there were questions from topics like Physical chemistry, isomer, chemical bonding, nucleotide, polymer, etc. There were NCERT based questions and overall this section was moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, there were questions from topics like mathematical reasoning, circle, statistics, ellipse, vector 3D, etc. The paper was considered lengthy as previous shifts were.

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students reaction, the paper was overall considered easy to moderate.

Section wise Physics was considered easier one on comparison to Chemistry and Mathematics section. Most questions in this section were from NCERT and were formula based.

In Chemistry section, there was more weightage of questions from Organic part. This section was overall considered easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, there were questions from almost all the topics but emphasis was on algebra part. It was considered moderate to difficult by the students.

Talking about section wise review, the Physics section was considered easier. However, Chemistry section was considered as moderate in difficulty level. While Mathematics was as usual lengthy in nature.

Day 1 Shift I (24th January 2023):

Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been successfully conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. As per students feedback the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level.

In the Chemistry section, there were questions from organic and inorganic chemistry and had weightage as compared to physical. The physical organic chemistry had more numerical type questions.

In Physics section, questions were asked from POC, EM waves, Semi conductor, etc.

In Mathematics section, the questions asked were difficult and lengthy and students reaction for this section was moderate to easy. Also, there were mathematics reasoning question and from Vector 3D.

Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per the students feedback, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level comparing to previous year.

In Mathematics section, the questions were directly asked and were from topics – Integration, statistics, sets, calculus, etc. This section was moderately easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were questions directly asked from NCERT and from topics like IOC, everyday chemistry, inorganic chemistry. However, physical organic chemistry had more weightage. This section was overall considered easy in difficulty level by the students.

In Physics section, the paper was overall easy. There were questions from topics – wave part, semiconductor, etc. Also most questions were memory based and were NCERT level.

Day 2 Shift I (25th January 2023):

Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (25th January) has been updated after its conclusion. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students. Most of the questions were from NCERT.

In Mathematics section, mostly questions were from class 11th. There were questions from topics like 3D, vector, integration topics, etc. Overall this section was considered to be moderate in level difficulty level and was lengthy and calculative.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics like – semiconductor, electricity, gravitation, etc. In the paper, modern physics was more prevalent. Formula based questions were asked more. Overall this section as per students was easy.

In Chemistry section, Organic and physical chemistry has maintained good ratio. In physical chemistry the topics asked were Block chemistry. There were less questions from NCERT today.

Day 2 Shift II (25th January 2023):

Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (25th January) has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students reaction, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were calculative and lengthy and had reasoning based questions. There were questions from vector and function topics. Overall this section was considered to be easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were mostly NCERT based questions. There were most questions from inorganic chemistry. This section was also considered to be easy in difficulty level by the students.

In Physics section, the questions asked in the paper were from modern physics and capacitance topic. There were formula based questions so this section was considered to be moderate in difficulty level by the students.

Day 3 (28th January 2023):

Analysis According to Students:

The single shift for paper 2 of JEE Main 2023 Exam (28th January) was conducted from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. It was organised for B.Arch & B.Plan paper. As per the reaction of the appeared students, the paper was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level. Students said that the exam was lengthy and there were only 2 drawing questions instead of 4 without any option provided.

In General Aptitude section, there were Patronous tower and monument matching questions asked. Overall this section was easy.

The Mathematics section was considered moderate in difficulty level by the students. The topics from which the questions were asked were from – determinants, circle, 3D, limits, series, hyperbola, etc.

Also, the Aptitude section was moderate in difficulty level. There were questions from Orthographic projection, paper folding, mirror image, series completion topics, etc.

Day 4 Shift I (29th January 2023):

Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (29th January) has been updated after its conclusion. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like geometry, vector, statistics, etc. Overall this section was considered easy to moderate in difficulty level. However, it was lengthy and calculative and there were less number of questions from matrices.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like Integration, vector, lines, algebra, 3D, limit, matrices, PNC, probability, area under curve, calculus, etc. This section was considered moderate in difficulty level. However, it was lengthy and calculative.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics like modern physics, semiconductor, communication system, optics, magnetism, electrostatistics, unit & dimension, kinematics, etc. Overall this section as per students was easy.

Day 6 Shift I (31st January 2023):

Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (31st January) has been released. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like GP, integral, mean variation, vector, variation, sequence series, 3D, mathematical reasoning, etc. This section was considered moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, the questions from topics like EM waves, modern physics, semiconductor, electromagnetic induction, etc. Overall the difficulty level of this section was easy.

In Physics section, questions were asked from various topics such as Mechanics, semiconductor, EM waves, magnetic field, thermodynamics, AC, Round Modules etc. The paper was formula based, mainly dominated by Mechanics. Overall difficulty level of this section was easy.

In chemistry section, questions were based on NCERT syllabus. The paper had various topics i.e., kinetics, organic, chemistry in everyday life, metallurgy, ketones, etc. Difficulty level of this section was Moderate.

In mathematics section, questions were asked from integral, sequence series, statistics, Trigonometry, AP and GP. Overall difficulty of this section was moderate level as it was calculative and lengthy.

Day 7 Shift I (1st February 2023):

Analysis According to Students: The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (1st February) has been conducted successfully from 09: 00 am to 12: 00 noon. Student’s reaction has been updated after its conclusion. Overall difficulty level of paper was easy.

In Physics section, questions were asked from various topics of 11th level such as POC, semiconductor, modern physics, optics, EM waves, electromagnetic induction. Difficulty level of this section was easy.

In chemistry section, questions were based on NCERT subjects. Majorly questions were asked from Inorganic chemistry, polymers, block chemistry, ketones, chemistry in everyday life. The overall difficulty level of this section was also easy.

In Mathematics section, questions were asked from matrices, series and sequence, 3D, statistics, etc. This section was considered lengthy & calculative by students. Therefore, it was moderate in difficulty level.

Day 7 Shift II (1st February 2023):

Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (1st February) will be conducted from 03: 00 pm to 6: 00 pm. Student’s reaction will be updated after its conclusion. The overall difficulty level of paper was easy.

In Physics section, questions were asked from semiconductor, modern physics, optics, mechanics, induction, optics, current, mirror, etc. The difficulty level of this section was easy.

In Chemistry section, questions will be NCERT based. The paper included topics such as organic chemistry, polymers, reactions, chemistry in everyday life. The difficulty of this section was easy level.

In Mathematics section, question paper contained topics such as coordinates, matrices, reasoning, and 3D. The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate level.

What After JEE Main 2025 Exam?

National Testing agency (NTA) will release the Optical Response Sheet (ORS) after the exam. Candidates will be able to match their answers and get the clear idea about expected marks.

If any candidate will have any doubt regarding any question in the JEE Main 2025 answer key, they will be able to challenge for the answer for that question by submitting Justification of the answer through challenge form on the website.
