The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam city intimation slip today, 20th March 2025.
It is released via online mode and is available for download at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Only candidates who have submitted JEE Main registration form successfully can check city slip.
To get JEE Main exam city intimation slip, candidates are required to login by entering their application number and date of birth along with the security pin.
Aspirants should note that this is not the JEE admit card; it only provides information about the exam city allotted to them. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode from April 2nd to April 9th, 2025.
Is JEE Main Admit card and city intimation slip same?
No JEE Main admit card and JEE Main city intimation slip are both different documents. An exam city intimation slip is a document that is released before the admit card and has details regarding the candidates allotted city and center.
It is released so that candidates for the examination day can arrange their transportation so that they successfully reach at the center. Candidates are not required to carry their JEE city slip copy on the exam day.

The JEE Main admit card will contain detailed information regarding the candidate’s personal information, exam date, timing, shift, parent’s name, exam center, exam hall and center guidelines, signature, and photograph. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam center without a hardcopy of the admit card.
Steps To Download JEE Main City Intimation Slip
You can follow the instructions given below to get your JEE city slip:
- Go to the NTA JEE Main respective website.
- On the homepage scroll down.
- Look for the “candidate activity” section.
- Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam city intimation slip” link.
- Candidates’ login will appear on the screen.
- Enter the required details and click on “log in” option.
- Your JEE city slip will be displayed on screen.
- Check it and download it for further use.
Candidate are required to reach the exam authority if they face any issues while checking or downloading their city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination Main.
Dates for the JEE admit card are yet to be announced. However, as per the information bulletin, it will be released 3 days before the examination.
