- Required Category Certificate Details: The requirement for reserved category applicants (OBC, EWS) to provide detailed certificate information, including ID, issue date, and issuing officer, has added complexity.
- Validity Period for Category Certificates: All the certificates published after April 1, 2024, are required for final admission, complicating the present application process.
- Lack of Guidance from NTA: Candidates are saying they are not getting enough support from the authorities and they are not clear with instructions for document upload.
- New Tie-Breaking Rules: For the session 2025 changes have been made to criteria, such as removing the age factor and adding new provisions for PwD and OBC categories, which have not been widely communicated.
- Potential for Lower Registration Numbers: As registration is less this could also impact the final registration if students will still face issues and NTA will not act promptly.
