This exam is conducted to get admission in the B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree programmes. These programmes are offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian School of Mines (ISM). Note: Report at a nearest reporting center (RC) for document verification. If offered an IIT seat, you must report at any RC of IITs. For NIT+ offered seats, please report at any RC of NIT+ system. Click here to check RC details.
Pay the seat acceptance fee (Rs. 20000/- for SC/ST/PwD and Rs. 45000/- for others) in one of the two modes: 1) SBI Internet banking; and 2) SBI e-challan. The fee will be adjusted with the admission fee after deducting the processing charges of Rs. 1000/- at IIT reporting centers.

JEE Advanced 2017 Counselling is organized by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The counselling procedure is organizing through online process only. JoSAA is conducting seven rounds of seat allocation for academic programs offered by the Institutions under JoSAA 2017. CSAB is organizing the special counselling round for vacant seats. The special round counselling has been started from 27th July 2017.

JEE Advanced Counselling Procedure
Here, we have mentioned the complete procedure of JEE Advanced Counselling:
Online Registration: Candidates who qualified the JEE Advanced Examination, they have to register for the seat allocation in all participating Institutions. Without registration, the seat will not be allotted to the candidates.
Choice Filling: After registration, candidates have to fill their choices of courses & Institutions in decreasing order of their preference. Candidates have to fill as many choices as possible. Candidates can change their choices and add new ones till the final locking.
Choice Lock: Candidates must have to lock their choices after select the courses & institutions. If candidates don’t lock their choices, their last saved choices will be locked automatically.
Seat Allotment Letter: After a few days of choice lock, candidates will get an SMS/Email regards to the seat allotment. Candidates have to download their seat allotment letter from the official link.
Seat Acceptance: Candidates who allotted a seat must have to deposit the seat acceptance fee to confirm their seats. They also have to verify their documents at any reporting center for provisional seat acceptance. Candidates can pay the fee through e-Challan/SBI Net Banking. In 2016, the seat acceptance fee is Rs.20000 for SC/ST/SC-PwD/ST-PwD/GEN-PwD/OBC-NCL-PwD & for all other Candidates Rs. 45000.
Reporting at the Allotted College: within a few weeks of seat acceptance, all the IITs & ISM will publish their reporting schedule on the official site. The schedule and venues for introductory courses will be announced separately. Candidates have to report at the allotted college in a given time period.
