JCECE 2026 Application Form

Before filling the JCECE Application Form 2026, go through the given instructions carefully:

  • Applicants should apply for JCECE 2026 in first week of March 2026 through online mode only. 
  • Provide valid communication details such as valid mobile number and email ID.
  • One must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying for JCECE 2026 exam.
  • All documents including photograph and signature must be uploaded in prescribed format.
  • Ensure to provide accurate details as no changes will be possible at a later stage after submission of application form.
  • Applications of eligible candidates will be accepted till first week of April 2026.
  • It is advised to retain 3 or 4 printouts of filled application form for future references.

Application Fee:

  • Application-cum-examination fee will be transacted through online mode only. 
  • Fee will be remitted using a Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI method.
  • Once paid, registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How to Apply for JCECE 2026

Follow these simple steps to apply for JCECE 2026:

  • Step-1: Visit the JCECEB website. (link will be given above)
  • Step-2: Click on “Apply Online” button and enter your basic registration details.
  • Step-3: You will receive a confirmation email at the registered email address.
  • Step-4:  Now, provide all details like personal, academic, category and address details to complete the application form.
  • Step-5: Also upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in specified size.
  • Step-6: Submit the details and make payment of application fee using online methods.
  • Step-7: At last, download the application form and take multiple printouts of it for future references.

JCECE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must check the JCECE Eligibility Criteria 2026 before applying for exam:

General:

  • Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India and Local/Permanent Resident of Jharkhand state.
  • Age: Students must be 17 to 22 years old as on 1st July 2026 to be eligible. A relaxation of 5% will be given to SC, ST & OBC candidates.

For B.Tech (Dairy Technology/Agriculture Engineering):

  • Qualification: To be eligible, applicants must have passed 12th level or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Subject: One must pass 12th level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subject.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture:

  • Qualification:  One should have passed 12th grade from any recognized board.
  • Subject: In qualifying examination, applicants should have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology subjects.

JCECE 2026 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: JCECE 2026 Exam will be held via offline mode.
  • Duration: 2 hours will be given for Physics & Chemistry subjects and 1 hour for Mathematics subjects.
  • Type of Questions: Objective Type Questions will be asked in entrance exam.
  • Total Questions: There will be 50 questions for each subjects
  • Medium: Question paper will be available in both English and Hindi language.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be worth 1 mark and loses 0.25 marks for each incorrect response.

JCECE 2026 Admit Card

JCECE Admit Card 2026 will be made available to download in fourth week of April 2026. The admit card will be issued to all the registered applicants via online mode through login on the website. 

The admit card will contain details like name, roll number, father’s name, category, photograph, date of birth, subject group, and address of JCECE 2026 exam center. Applicants are suggested to keep their admit card safe until the admission process gets completed.

JCECE 2026 Answer Key

The answer key of JCECE 2026 will be released in fourth week of April 2026 for all the courses. It will be released via online mode in form of a PDF. Students should visit the website to access the answer key.

The answer key allows candidates to get a rough idea of their estimated scores before the result announcement. Applicants will also be allowed to submit objections against the JCECE Answer Key 2026 by paying the required fee.

JCECE 2026 Result

JCECE Result 2026 will be declared a few days after the conclusion of exam via online mode. The board will announce the result in third week of May 2026, which will be accessed from the website through login.

Based on the JCECE 2026 result, a merit list will also be prepared category wise for all the courses. Students are advised to keep their results safe till all the admission procedure get completed.

JCECE 2026 Merit List

After the declaration of result, the board will release both a Combined Merit List and Category-Wise Merit List for admission to Agriculture and Allied Courses. Students will be able to check the merit list via online mode in month of May/ June 2026.

Those candidates who will qualify the entrance examination with minimum scores will be listed in JCECE Merit List 2026. Selection of candidates for admission to desired programme will be purely based on merit.

JCECE 2026 Cut Off

Applicants will be able to view the JCECE cut off 2026 via online mode. The board will release the cut off scores for admission based on the candidate’s rank in entrance exam.

The cut off scores represent the minimum required marks that candidates must achieve in the JCECE 2026 examination. Based on these cut off marks, applicants will be shortlisted for counselling and further admission process.

JCECE 2026 Counselling

The board will conduct the online counselling process for successful candidates based on their merit rank, after the results get published. Information regarding date, time, place and mode of counselling will be announced in local newspapers and on the Board’s website.

The counselling will be started in first week of August 2026, tentatively. Candidates invited for JCECE Counselling 2026 will have to pay a counselling fee, which will be Rs. 400/- for General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/female candidates.

Candidates selected for counselling must bring original & self-attested photocopies of required documents during counselling at the designated institute.
