ISI 2025 Admission Procedure

To get admission to the ISI and its affiliated campuses, candidates have to appear in ISI entrance test 2025. The admission to ISI is strictly based on the merit of the candidates, which is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in admission test.

The admission authority also considers the candidate’s past academic records for allotting the seats. The names of selected candidates will be displayed on the website of ISI.

List of final selected candidates will be published through online mode. GATE qualified candidates will be able to directly apply for admission.

ISI Counselling Details

After the publication of written result, the list of shortlisted candidates is published for the candidates. The authority also publishes the merit list of the qualified candidates. On the basis of  ISI 2025 cut off marks the authority allot the seats.

Candidates whose names will appear on the list can go through the admission rounds. Candidates who have a valid GATE score card will be directly called for the admission round. Seat allotment will be released in June/ July 2025.

Such candidates will be able to view their names for the direct interview on the website of ISI. The candidates will be shortlisted for the interview rounds on the basis of their performance in the exam.

ISI Counselling Procedure 2025

  • The admission into the ISI and its affiliated campuses can be followed by counselling rounds.
  • Candidates must have to download the counselling call letter and present it in person on the day of counselling as per the date and time issued at the time of result.
  • Candidates should have to report to the counselling center at least half an hour before the commencement of the counselling.
  • Candidates must have to bring the original certificates along with one set of photocopies.
  • The admission authority will release the seat allocation and waitlist for the candidates on their website.
  • At the time of counselling, candidates must have to accept their seats before the deadline given by the authority.

ISI 2025 Cut Off

The cut off marks are decided by the authority and published on the website after the exam conclusion. ISI cut off 2025 will vary for different courses. Students must obtain the prescribed cut off marks in order to be eligible for admission to the Institute.

As per past trends, the cut off marks for objective type paper is around 60 to 75 out of 120, and for descriptive type exams is 35 to 50 out of 80. Cut off marks will be decided on the basis of various factors like number of candidates, number of available seats, difficulty level of paper, marking, reservation, etc.
