Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) every year for admission into various courses. Application forms can be only filled by those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.

• • The IPU CET application form for the 2025 session has been released from 1st February 2025.
  • Application for the IPU CET 2025 can be submitted in online mode and the exam is in offline mode.
  • Self-registration> login> application form filling > document upload > fees submission > final submit. 
  • You are required to create a user ID and password as a part of IPU CET online registration.
  • While applying you are required to upload a scanned signature, photograph & other documents.
  • You have to save the application form login credentials as they can be used for login further.
  • The application confirmation page will be available to you after successful fee payment only.
  • Applications should be filled separately for candidates who wish to apply for more than one course.
  • Registration portal for the IPU CET will be available till 31st March 2025.

• IPU CET application form fee 2025 is Rs. 2500/-.
• You can pay the IPU CET application fees through these mediums Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc.
• In addition to the application/ exam fees, there are GST and charges as per the bank or gateway that you are required to pay.
• No refund is provided once the IPU CET application fee is submitted.
• If face trouble with fee payment or the confirmation page is not generated dont pay multiple times approach the bank and payment gateway first.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility

Check the eligibility criteria for the IPU CET PG and UG courses before applying:

Eligibility For B.Tech Programme:

• Qualifying Examination: Candidates will be eligible if they have passed the 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent. You are required to pass each subject separately.
• Marks: Applicants should have scored 55% marks in PCM.
• Subject: In the qualifying exam passing in English subject is mandatory.
• Candidates applying for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT)/ Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)/ Electrical Engineering (EE) should have a third subject from among these Chemistry /Computer Science/ Electronics/ IT/Business Studies/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Bio/ Entrepreneurship.
• Scorecard: Eligible are those who have cleared the JEE Main Paper 1 exam.
• There is no CET exam for admission conducted by the authority separately, JEE Main merit/marks will be used for admission.
• Candidates who are blind, deaf, or dumb are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility For MBA Programme: 

• Qualifying Examination: Should have done 3 years or more Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a known institution.

OR

• Should have cleared the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

OR

• Should have secured 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or any other subject
• Scorecard: Admission will be based on the CAT 2024 overall percentile.
• If there will be seats left after the counselling then the score and overall percentile of CMAT will be considered.
• Admission will be conducted based on merit in GGSIPU CET 2025 if seats remain vacant after exhausting the CAT 2024 and CMAT 2025 merit lists.

How To Apply For IPU CET 2025

The steps that will be followed while filling out the IPU CET application are given below:

• First go to the website of GGSIPU (link is provided above).
• On the homepage, you now need to scroll down.
• Visit the “Admission 2025-2026” section.
• Click on the “Apply Online” link under the same.
• A portal for self-registration will appear on the device.
• Tap on the “New Candidates Registration” link.
• Enter your basic details & create an id and password.
• Login with the generated ID and password.
• Fill out the application form (qualification, contact, personal) details.
• Attach the document and review form.
• Select payment mode & pay the online application fees.
• Save the filled application for further use.
