It is a national level examination conducted multiple times in a year. GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) is the conducting authority of GMAT examination. GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) is conducted to offer admission in Management programmes i.e. full time and part time MBA corses. Must Know about GMAT Focus Edition:
- The classic GMAT is no longer available since 1st February 2024. It has been replaced by GMAT Focus Edition.
- GMAT Focus Edition assesses relevant business skills rather than general skills; it contains only 3 sections (instead of 4). Also, you have 2 minutes per question (25% more time than the GRE) and can get your GMAT scores in 3 to 5 days.

GMAT 2024 Exam Dates
There will be no fixed dates for the GMAT 2024 exam. Examination is conducted multiple times annually. Candidates will be able to choose dates as per their choice. Candidates will need to book their exam dates 2 or 3 months prior to their desired date. GMAT 2024 registration will be opened all year round.
GMAT 2024 Application Form
Candidates must go through the details of GMAT 2024 Application Form with instructions below:
- GMAT application form will be released through online mode on the website.
- Candidates will be able to fill registration form throughout the year.
- Fill details carefully in the application form i.e. education, communication etc. to avoid mistakes.
- Candidates must fill the choice of exam centre and book their slots as per their choice.
- Candidates are advised to register 2 or 3 months before the planned exam date.
- There will be no need to send hardcopy of the application form to the authority.
- Do not forget to take a printout of the application form for further references.
Application Fee:
- Registration fee for GMAT 2024 will be paid through online mode.
- Application fee is USD 250 (Rs. 20465) for each candidate.
- Candidates will be able to make payment through master card/ Visa/ American Express and discover network cards.
- Application fee will be non-refundable once paid.
How to Apply for GMAT 2024:
- Step-1: Go to the official website (link will be mentioned above).
- Step-2: Register yourself by providing some basic details.
- Step-3: Now, click on sign up button and fill your registration form.
- Step-4: Enter your personal details i.e. address, contact, gender etc.
- Step-5: You can now verify your profile and schedule your exam.
- Step-6: Submit the registration fee and keep a copy of application form for future references.
GMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to fulfil the below mentioned GMAT eligibility criteria before applying for the GMAT 2024 exam:
- Nationality: There will be no restrictions to apply on the nationality. Candidates from India as well as foreign will be eligible to apply.
- Qualifications: Candidates having graduation degree or its equivalent from any recognised university/ institute will be eligible.
- Marks Criteria: There will be no marks criteria to apply for GMAT exam.
- Age Limit: Candidates must have completed the age of 18 years.
- Attempt Limit: Candidates will be able to appear for the exam total of up to 5 times within a rolling 12-month period with 16 days of gap during every attempt.
GMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

- Mode of Exam: Examination will be held through online mode (remote proctored mode).
- Number of Section: Question paper will consist of four sections.
- Time Limit: Total 3 hours and 30 minutes will be provided including breaks.
- Subjects: Question paper will have four subjects i.e. quantitative ability, verbal reasoning, integrated reasoning and writing assessment.

GMAT 2024 Admit Card
Admit card for the GMAT 2024 will be made available through online mode. Candidates will be able to get the GMAT Admit Card to know the date and details about the exam. Admit card will not be provided to the candidate by post or any other offline method.
Admit card will contain the details i.e. name of the Candidate, exam time, date, exam instructions etc. Candidates must keep a printout of the admit card safe for future purpose. It will be compulsory for the candidates to provide a valid identity proof before appearing for the exam.
GMAT 2024 Result
GMAT Result will be announced to the candidates after few days the conduct of exam. It will be declared through online mode on the website. GMAT 2024 score card will be valid for the five year after the date of exam. Score card will contain details like section wise marks, name of the candidates, total marks obtained etc.
Candidates will be able to check their results using login details. Result can be download till 20 days after the conduct of the exam. Do not forget to take printout of the GMAT score card for further references.
GMAT 2024 Admission
Admission will be based on the cut off marks prepared by the different business schools and colleges. Candidates will be able to send their scores to the respective institute after the conduct of the exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling and further interview rounds by the authority.
Final admission will be provided to the candidates based on the personal interview/ group discussion and document verification process. Institutes will have different admission criteria. Candidates will need to report at the allotted college to submit the admission fee and for other procedures.
