GCET Application Form 2025: Check Registration Dates & Process

The GCET 2025 Application Form will be available in the month of March 2025. DTE Goa has updated the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET 2025) admissions process from the 2024-25 session.

GCET entrance exam has been cancelled and now admission to engineering (B.E.) and pharmacy (B.Pharm.) courses are based on scores from national entrance exams. For B.E. admissions, scores from JEE Main will be used and for MBBS & BDS admissions, NEET scores will be used. 

GCET was a state level entrance exam. The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa holds the responsibility for providing admissions to professional degree programs in Goa.

GCET 2025 Application Form

Check out the highlights that you should know before applying for the GCET examination:

  • Applications for GCET 2025 will be released in March 2025.
  • GCET Registration forms will be available online but candidates need to submit them at the allotted center. 
  • For smooth registration read and follow GCET 2025 prospectus.
  • If more than one application is submitted then last submission will be considered.
  • Application window will be closed in April 2025
  • Registration fees can be only paid in offline mode.
  • Candidates have to provide their personal, educational & address related details in the application form.
  • Discrepancies/ incomplete application information will lead to rejection.

GCET 2025 Application Fee:

Details on the GCET application fees are given below:

  • Application fees for all candidates and categories will be Rs- 1800/-.
  • Mode of fee payment will be offline.
  • NRI candidates are required to pay the same fees as other category candidates.

GCET 2025 Registration Documents List

List of documents required at the time of form submission is provided below:

  • Two recent, identical passport-size photographs.
  • Class 12 certificate or its equivalent examination.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Residence Certificate (If Applicable).
  • Leaving/Transfer certificate from school or college (If Applicable).
  • Certificate of Income (If Applicable).

GCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Read the eligibility requirements given and check whether you can apply for GCET or not:

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: For all the candidates the nationality is the same as Indian Nationals/NRIs with Indian Passports/OCI or PIO cardholders.
  • Age Limit: There is no minimum or maximum age limit for candidates applying for Engineering & Pharmacy courses. 

Bachelor’s in Engineering:

  • Qualification: Class 12th from Goa Board or Diploma in Engineering & Technology will be mandatory to apply for BE & B.Tech courses.
  • Subjects: Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Bio/Technical Vocational, and others.
  • Marks: Minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) are required in the qualifying exam.
  • Scorecard: Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score.

Bachelors in Pharmacy:

  • Qualification: Eligible are those candidates who have completed class 12 or equivalent recognized by Goa Board.
  • Subjects: Candidates should have Chemistry & Physics with Math/Bio as a compulsory subjects.
  • Scorecard: Should have valid NEET UG or JEE Main score.

Bachelor’s in Architecture:

  • Qualification: 10+2 or diploma after 10th from a recognized institution can apply.
  • Subjects: You must have Physics, Chemistry, and Math as main subjects.
  • Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST & OBC) is required.
  • Scorecard: Valid NATA score.

How To Apply for GCET 2025

You can submit the GCET registration form without any mistakes if you follow the instructions below:

  • Go to the DTE Goa Official Website (Apply Link Will Be provided above)
  • Click on the “Admission” option.
  • Select the “GCET 2025 Application Form” link.
  • Take a printout of the application form. 
  • Read the application instructions thoroughly, once done.
  • Start filling in by mentioning basic details. 
  • Followed by entering educational & other details. 
  • Paste all the required documents.
  • Attach the hard copy of the demand draft slip. 
  • Send or submit the application to the designated application submission centre.
