Now, this admission procedure is organised on the basis of JEE Main, NEET UG and NATA scores by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. 

The admission will be offered at Government, Government-aided and un-aided colleges offering Bachelor’s Degree courses in fields of Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine (Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda), Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Naturopathy and Yogic Science.

GCET 2025 Application Form

These are some general instructions related to GCET Application Form 2025:

  • The GCET 2025 application form will be made available for download in first week of March 2025.
  • Candidates will have to download the application form through online and offline mode and submit it personally at the Application Receiving Centres on specified dates.
  • Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down for respective courses to be considered for admission to various professional courses.
  • Provide details like personal, address, educational qualification and communication details to fill the application form.
  • Candidates will have to affix a passport size photograph on the application form and submit it along with self attested copies of required documents.
  • The last date for online submission of application will be till second week of April 2025.
  • Keep a copy of filled application form in safe custody for future reference.

Application Fee:

  • The GCET 2025 Application fee will be submitted through offline mode.
  • Applicants will be required to deposit an application fee of Rs.2000/-.
  • The application fee  remitted will be non-refundable.

How to Apply for GCET 2025 

Follow these steps to apply for GCET 2025:

  • Step-1: Visit the website link (link will be given above).
  • Step-2: Then, click on the “GCET-Application Form 2025” link.
  • Step-3: Complete the registration process by providing email ID and mobile number.
  • Step-4: Login and fill the application form with personal and academic details.
  • Step-5: Upload necessary documents in prescribed size and format.
  • Step-6: Pay the online application fee as specified.
  • Step-7: Submit the application form and take a printout of it for further uses.

GCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the mentioned GCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 to be eligible to apply:

General Eligibility: 

  • Nationality: Candidates who are Indian Nationals/NRI holding Indian Passport/OCI or PIO cardholders will be considered eligible for admissions.

Bachelor’s in Engineering:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th class recognised by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
  • Subjects: One must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational, Computer Science/ IT/ Information Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.
  • Marks: At least a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST and OBC) must be obtained to be eligible to apply.
  • Scorecard: An applicant must have obtained a valid scorecard of JEE Main 2025.

Bachelor’s in Pharmacy:

  • Qualification: Applicants must have passed XIIth level or its equivalent examination recognised by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • Subjects: In the qualifying examination, candidates must have Physics & Chemistry along with Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Scorecard: Applying candidates will be required to produce a valid scorecard of NEET UG or JEE Main.

Bachelor’s in Architecture:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th standard examination or 10+3 Diploma Examination from any recognised board.
  • Subjects: In the qualifying examination, one must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • Marks: At least 50% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST & OBC) must be obtained in the qualifying examination. 
  • Scorecard: Candidates applying for architecture courses must have obtained qualifying scores in NATA exam.

GCET 2025 Admission Procedure

GCET Admission Procedure 2025 will be organised for all those candidates who have applied for admission in various UG & PG Courses. The authority will organise admission procedure in various steps such as registration, form filling, choices of preferences of courses and institute, payment of fee, document verification etc. 

Firstly, candidates will have to complete the registration process. Only successfully registered candidates will be considered for further admission. The final selection of candidates will be based on their scores in national level entrance exam and fulfilment of other eligibility requirements.

GCET 2025 Merit List

The authority will prepare separate merit lists for various professional degree courses based on scores/rank of national level exams like JEE Main, NEET and NATA. The Provisional merit lists of all professional courses and categories will be published through online mode on the website.

The merit list of such candidates shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored in national level exam. In case of any error detected by candidates in their marks and merit positions in provisional merit list, they will be able to raise objections against the same. All the candidates listed in merit list will be eligible to appear for all rounds of admission. 

GCET 2025 Cut Off

The cut off GCET 2025 will consist of minimum qualifying marks that a candidate must score in the qualifying examination. The cut off marks will be released separately by different participating institutes for different courses through online mode.

Candidates will have to obtain more than or equal to minimum cut off marks  as per their categories in order to get selected. The GCET 2025 cut off will be prepared based on various factors such as number of candidates applied, previous year cut off trend, number of seats available etc.

GCET 2025 Counselling

GCET Counselling 2025 will be organised by the authority to provide admission to eligible candidates in professional degree courses. The admission will be given strictly in order of merit. The counselling procedure will be started in the month of June 2025 through online mode.

Candidates interested for admission must be present for all rounds of admission and counselling. Applicants reporting for admission will be given an opportunity to select institutes and courses of their choices available in order of merit. The admission will be treated to have been completed only after the deposit of original documents and payment of fees.
