NEET SS 2024 Counselling
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, will conduct NEET SS 2024 common counselling for all Super Speciality seats. It will begin in the second week of November 2024. Only those who have been shortlisted will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
NEET SS 2024 counselling will be divided into rounds dependent on the availability of seats. Candidates will be assigned seats based on their performance in the entrance exam. NEET SS 2024 Counselling Procedure
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts the NEET SS counselling process online.
The following are the step-by-step approach for counselling:
Step 1: Register for Counselling:
Shortlisted candidates must register for the NEET SS counselling process by paying registration and security fees. Candidates must give basic personal information such as their name, roll number, email address, and so on throughout the registration procedure.
Step 2: Selection Filling and Locking:
Candidates must offer a list of courses available at their selected colleges. This is a key phase because seat allocation will be based on the candidates’ selections as well as their merit. After filling out the options, users must lock the options to complete the procedure.
Step 3: Application Processing:
To allot seats in their selected colleges and specialties, DGHS considers the candidates’ NEET SS scores and choices.
Step 4: Seat Allotment Provisional List:
The DGHS will publish a temporary seat allotment list following the processing of applications. Candidates who will be satisfied with their seat allocation can confirm their admission by reporting to the allotted college.
Documents Required for Counselling:

NEET SS 2024 Cut Off
NEET SS 2024 Cut Off will be released through online mode. It will be available on the website. To check the NEET SS 2024 cut off, applicants must visit the website.
The cut off is the minimum score that candidates have to score to clear the examination. Several factors that determine the factors are given below:
- The total number of candidates that have applied for a specific super specialty course.
- Examination performance of the candidates

NEET SS 2024 Seat Allotment
NEET SS 2024 seat allotment will be released in the third week of November 2024 for round 1. If an applicant will be dissatisfied with their seat allotment, they can accept admission, indicate their readiness to attend Round 2 of counselling, or simply ignore the seat allotment. Their security fees, however, will be forfeited. Candidates can engage in round 2 of counselling in all of these instances.
After assessing the vacant seat status from the first round of counselling, the second round of counselling will be held. The second round of counselling will follow the same procedures as the first. The following candidates will be eligible for the second round of counselling:
- Candidates will be admitted through the first round of seat allocation but have signaled their willingness to participate in the second round.
- Candidates who have not yet reported for admission will be assigned a seat in the first round of seat allocation.
- Candidates that did not receive a seat in the first round of counselling.
If the seat remains unfilled after the second round of counselling, a mop-up round may be held. This will be a spot round, with counselling and admission taking place concurrently.
