CG PET Result 2025

Candidates will be able to check the result through online mode only. The result will be available to be checked by entering the roll number (given on admit card). There is no rank card or scorecard which is sent to the candidates through post or email.

As a result, candidates can also check score obtained in the entrance exam, qualifying status, and ranks allotted to them. The board also provides the marks sheet of the candidate in which their total marks and marks obtained in each subject are mentioned.

For providing admission, a merit list has been prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. Candidates can get shortlisted for the admission process on the basis of CG PET merit list and their ranks.

CG PET 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria

When two or more candidates score same marks in the CG PET entrance exam, then tie-breaking criteria will be followed by the authority to determine the rank:

• Candidates who score higher marks in Mathematics will get a higher rank.
• If tie still exists, candidates who score higher marks in Physics will be considered.
• If tie still exists, applicants who obtained higher marks in Chemistry will be prioritized.
• If tie still persists, students older in age will be considered.
• If the tie still exists, then applicants scoring higher marks in class 12th out of total marks will be prioritized.

CG PET Counselling 2025

CG PET 2025 Counselling will be commenced in August 2025. Candidates will be able to check the leading local newspaper of the state to check the counselling schedule.

After a few days of the declaration of result, the board will conduct counselling for the candidates. For offering admissions, the board will prepare the merit list on the basis of results. As per the candidate’s ranks in the merit list, they are called for the selection procedure.

On the day of counselling, candidates have to carry the original documents along with one set of photocopies of the required documents. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on choices filled by them.
