CG PET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must be under 30 years old as of July 1st in the year of admission. 3-year relaxation is given to reserved category candidates. 
• The minimum age limit for admission is 17 years by December 31st.
• Qualifying Examination: Applicants have completed 10+2 or an equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational courses as optional subjects.

• Aspirants applying for B.Tech Biotechnology should have studied Biology instead of Maths in their 10 + 2.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in each Class 10+2 or equivalent subject. Reserved category aspirants from Chhattisgarh should have secured a minimum of 40% in their Class 10+2.

• Grace marks will only make candidates eligible if they meet the minimum pass percentage in each subject. However, grace marks will not be considered when calculating the aggregate percentage for admissions.
