CBSE 2025 Board Datesheet Out: The Central Board of Higher Education has released the datesheet for the upcoming board exam 2024- 2025 session.
It was released on the board’s respective website on 20 November 2024. According to the official notice for both board exam classes examination will begin on 15th February 2025.
The class 10th examination will begin with an English paper and the class 12th examination will begin with Entrepreneurship.
The CBSE board has released the exam schedule for the 2025 session approximately three months earlier. Compared to the previous year, the datesheet has been issued 23 days earlier.

As per the schedule, examination for board classes will begin on 15th February. However, the exam for both classes 10th and 12th will begin on same date but end on different days and months. CBSE class 10th board exam will end on 18th March and class 12th board exam will end on 4th April 2025.

Why CBSE Has Released Board Date Sheet Early?
This is the first time that CBSE has released the board examination date sheet this early for classes 10th and 12th exams. One of the reasons for early release is the timely submission of LOC by schools.
Another reason is that the date sheet has been released around 3 months before the examination candidates have enough time to start their board exam preparations accordingly. Early preparation will also help students, reducing anxiety and improving performance.
Families and teachers can plan vacations and schedules considering exam and evaluation timelines. Teachers will not take long breaks and vacations which can affect the non-board classes. Board examinations will be organized in a planned and effective manner.
