BITSAT Eligibility 2025

It will be necessary to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria given for the BITSAT entrance exam. Candidates are advised to read complete eligibility criteria and then proceed to fill BITSAT application form.

If any candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination at a later stage their candidature will be cancelled. Below we have mentioned the complete eligibility criteria.

For B.Pharma:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed the intermediate or equivalent examination from the Central Board/State Board/any equivalent board.
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates who passed their examination or appeared in 10+2 exams in 2025 will be also eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Marks: It is must obtain 75% marks in the PCB & PCM group. 60% marks in each subject is necessary.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are the mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam. Proficiency in English will be necessary for all candidates.
  • Candidates with PCM group will be also eligible to apply.

For all courses except B.Pharma:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass the 12th class from a recognized Central Board or State Board.
  • Minimum Marks: The candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if a candidate has taken Mathematics in BITSAT).
  • A minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects (if a candidate has taken Biology in BITSAT) in the qualifying exam.
  • 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects are necessary to score.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are the necessary subjects. Proficiency in English is mandatory for everyone.

Direct Admission:

  • First rank students from all central and state boards in the year 2025, will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2025 score.

Other Conditions

  • If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his/her latest performance will be considered.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th examination in 2022 or earlier will be not eligible to apply for BITSAT 2025.
  • Candidates presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses will be not eligible to appear in BITSAT 2025.
  • The eligibility for admission will be subject to fulfilling the required minimum marks in 10+2 examination.
  • Direct admission will be given to students who have obtained first rank in their respective board exams.
  • Candidates can appear in BITSAT exam for a maximum of two times.
  • Only Students who are appearing for the 12th examination in 2025 or who have passed the 12th Examination in 2025 are eligible to appear.

BITSAT 2025 Application

Candidates should know about details regarding the BITSAT registration process before applying:

  • BITSAT 2025 application forms for sessions 1 and 2 will be released separately.
  • Mode to apply for BITSAT will be only online, candidates will be not able to apply offline.
  • BITSAT 2025 session 1 application will be released in January 2025 and session 2 in May 2025.
  • Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply.
  • BITSAT application process will include self-registration> formfilling> document submission> fees submission>final submit.
  • While applying candidates will be required to attach scanned photographs and a signature.
  • Last day to submit BITSAT session 1 form will be April and session 2 will be June 2025.
  • Candidates are advised to not submit multiple applications.
  • Registration of those who will be rejected will fail to pay application fees or attach all required documents.
  • No applications will be accepted once after registration window closes.

    1. You must have obtain 75% marks in the PCB & PCM group and 60% marks in each subjects to be eligible.
